Meanwhile, some of the crazier "fans" have re-ranked the LA Times power list and one put Kris at #13. Two spots below Ruben. LOL! Yeah, I hear Ruben a lot on the radio these days. Kris had a top 10 hit in pop, HAC, and AC. Maybe Ruben had a top 5 hit in those formats. Oh, and Ruben recently closed the Kiss concert, right?

I have considered. I guess the main thing is -- is the song good. If they write something better than AWM.. then I'll be happy about it. If AWM is ignored and the song is not better I will be hostile. Possibly extremely hostile. I might actually bite someone. Just sayin'.

Keith Urban will NOT duet on AWM, so how can it be the next single?

I don't blame them for asking Keith to duet with Kris. It could be huge. On the other hand, I don't want Kris to be the King of the Duets. He doesn't need the support. He's good enough. The pop biz is hard, though, so, blah blah blah, okay, fine.

Aside from the KU thing, which seems to be impromptu (and I like Jive a lot for being that impromptu; it means they're on their toes), I think Jive has a long-range plan where singles are concerned, and the reason I think so is that I'm sure they would not release The Truth as the second single if everything hinged on the second single. I do think they feel Kris can be a single-seller and I think they plan to release a few, and they probably have a particular trajectory in mind. I think this time around they want to reach HAC in a big way. Not sure why, but perhaps they want to brag he can sell in several markets.

Did you guys see this diss on Top Idol?

They’re already busy enumerating all the Canadian stations that have added him. Why, any day now he will be a huge star in Canada like that woman whose name is Julie or Jules or something who was the Cat Deeley of Canadian Idol. And that other group, like Badly or Madly or something that was on Canadian Idol, and that black guy who was on the judging panel, like Randy Jackson Lite, and then there was this weird blonde chick…
Canadian stars are practically intergalactic they’re such supernovas.

Listen we Canadians release our intergalatic supahstars selectively.. Cause when they're big.. they're big. Celine and Beiber, need I say more? It's too much for the world to take. We love humanity too much.
