Funnneeee! (I guess this was a different time than the one Kris tweeted about. Because he and Matt weren't wearing moustaches.)

Tonight I'm avoiding mj's blog because they're such buzz killers! I can't read that stuff tonight. Usually I check things out over there when I'm not checking things out here. But I'm feeling a bit weird not doing that. Like, lost. :-? Ha.

Twitpic of Matt's old piano at the Radisson in Kalamazoo. (I'm guessing the Radi is the Radisson. I'm brilliant like that.)

Where it all began.. :) at the Radi here in Kalamazoo! Many m... on Twitpic

So, on MJ, they're saying that Kris will fail, that the song sucks, etc? Heh. What's new?

There were a lot of positive posts, also, of course, but there are the usual buzz killers. I think a true buzz killer puts doubts in your mind so that you can't enjoy anything. It's an art form! Sort of the "I'm very glad for Kris and he will probably have a hit, but if this is the direction his album is taking, well, if I were one of his fans I'd be worried" type of thing. Or: "I can see by the lack of originality in choosing a cover and using the same arrangement, Jive isn't putting any effort behind his CD. I feel sorry for him." ETC. In other words, blah-de-blah-de-blah.

Blah-de-blah-de-blah is my favourite Kris quote ever. And It applies. Blah-de-blah-de-blah to them. I will enjoy

My favorite quote of his, too. I've seen it used elsewhere, too. With him credited for it. Ha. Maybe it'll became the next "yada yada yada", huh?

Thanks but that link on Much was "Canada only". :(

AW  (sorry Ross) You never know when they are gonna use that darn country-block thing. Makes no sense to me.

Me either. I'm going to YouTube to see if there's any Kris stuff...

Well, the MuchMusic site wants me to install something, so I can't see it either. Unless I install the thing, which I don't think I'll do. SleepinIn, just tell me who wins! Do you like Hey Rosetta too? I love their CD.

"blah-de-blah-de-blah" makes me think about Obla-di Obla-da. Don't ask me why. At least, there's a Beatles connection so it should be OK with Kris!

Yep, I really like Hey Rosetta. They haven't played yet, they're just tweeting pictures at the moment. You might be able to stream from the radio site now that I think of it.

CBC Radio 3 - Breaking New Sound

Malajube is playing now. I really like a lot of the artists that are nominated this year. Which is a good sign in a music prize I guess. lol

LOL. Sounds good to me.

Looking at Kris's account on twitter...I was kind of surprised he added about 500 followers since this afternoon. I was refreshing the page to watch the followers' numbers going up...then they went down by one. I've seen that happen before! I think it's funny. Like, somebody just suddenly decided they couldn't stand Kris any more and stopped following him. (Hm. Guess I'm bored.)

Patrick Watson's performance was different - they sounded really good though. They were wearing lights or megaphones strapped to their backs.. very different. lol. K'Naan is up next - I really love K'naan.

Nothing else out there in Kris land, eh? I think that's funny too, though. I'm still following Scott though.. one of these days that dinner is going to get tweeted and he will be down one person.

Haha. I follow him, too. At least he doesn't tweet too much. And he seems so polite. Very hungry, though. Very.

I've had to block a few people, like Trace Cyrus of Metro Station (and bro of Miley, right?), because they just tweeted too much. "Stockholm is awesome." "Copenhagen you guys rock!" "Can't believe we're really in Finland! It's really dark here during the day!"

Who are these people of whom you speak?

They talk so much on the Polaris awards!! Bring me some music!

OK, now K'Naan is playing. I'm just familiar with the name. But I dislike pretty much all hip hop music... His song is not too bad though, I might have to check it out!

Canadian music! The Polaris Prize is given to the best Canadian album of the year (am I right SleepinIn? I'm not too sure who gives it). Patrick Watson is from Montréal actually and so are Malajube (did they sing in French, I missed them? I bet they did, why wouldn't they?).

:canada: Oh. Canadian music. Cool. I'm always up for that. It always amazes me there's so much great music in Canada that most of us never heard of down here.
I mean, it amazes me most of us never heard of it. Not that there's great music in Canada.

Maybe I should just lurk.
