You can always do everyone a favour and fu ck off out of Canada. You don't really seem to find anything good about this Country anyways.
Canada is not a "melting pot", never has been. It is "multi cultural" which pisses racists and bigots, like Durry and Walter, off no end.
The question remains the same.

Too bad the days of cops being cops are toast, I felt the change from policeman to infantryman was a real loss and but now this pc religious fashion trend in policing is just too much, what takes precident a call to prayer or a call to duty?

I'm not talking about multi-ethnic either. There is a difference with a distinction.
The problem with multiculti is there seems to be an inherent association with being labeled as being part of a "special interest group". The concept of special interest groups creates divisions among people, which is part of the original concept of having borders in the first place, and a hyphen in the multiculti sense is just another border. Whether in writing or verbally, that hyphen still marks a person out as somehow different from "us".
The whole thing is ridiculous. A country shouldn't be bending its will to newcomers without being conquered first, ffs.
And in that regard I'll say this much for the Native peoples, at least they fought like hell for their home. They may have lost in some ways but at least they fought. Unlike the pathetic, pasty white-guilt types who are only too happy to roll over and let it happen. And they not only let it happen, they help facilitate it.
As for the RCMP uniform, it's called a uniform for a reason. It and the institution it represents are older than Canada itself back when they were still the North-West Mounted. Oddly enough, while I argued that Sikhs shouldn't be permitted to wear their turban while in RCMP uniform, I had absolutely zero problem with them wearing their turban in a Legion hall.
Oh, by all means steer it. And tell yourself you've escaped evolution.

The one who needs help is the one who says the Mounties have "lowered the bar" and then cannot point to a single performance issue or standard that the hijab would change, so doubles down by ranting about "one uniform that everybody wears," an assertion easily proven false to the point of delusion.
They have lowered the bar. Letting turbans in was the first mistake. Now hijabs in a lame attempt to let some foreigner feel "included". On our jobsites we require certain attire. Granted it is for safety reasons but if you don't have all the necessary equipment and pass a D&A test you don't get in. Simple. There are no exceptions because of someone's beliefs or traditions.I don't see where government agencies should be any different.
SHould fire departments lower their criteria to make it easier for members of certain groups to join?
Yes you certainly should see about getting yours changed.
