The hypocrisy of Tory supporters is nothing short of mind boggling.
Human nature includes hypocrisy. Do you think that just Conservatives have this. My oh my. Much to learn Grasshopper, so much to learn and so little time.
Note this is post 101 - So I am here to help.

Of course it is. The system is broken and corrupted from within the union base to which it panders

Really?

A link would be nice

Seriously hurt at/on the job is covered by WCB... Twisting your knee or being waylaid with syphilis (assuming not contracted at work) is not the employers problem

Well put

WCB is not mandatory in all industries and professions.

WCB is not mandatory in all industries and professions.

Why and how are these exempt. What industries are you referring to.
Are these Federally regulated industries?
How is an exemption gained- authorized.
Do they have programs that meet or exceed WCB standards- That would not be hard to do.

I always had the impression that WCB was mandatory but I have been wrong on a number of occasions.

No, there are a few that are not required to register, here in Ontario anyway.

Do I need to register with the WSIB?

Most businesses in Ontario that employ workers (including family members and sub-contractors) must register with the WSIB within 10 days of hiring their first full- or part-time worker.
Registering with the WSIB provides workplace insurance coverage for all of your workers and gives you access to experts in health and safety for your business sector.
There are a few industries that do not have to register. These include:

  • Banks, trusts and insurance companies
  • Computer software developers
  • Private health care practices (such as those of doctors and chiropractors)
  • Trade unions
  • Private day cares
  • Travel agencies
  • Clubs (such as health clubs)
  • Photographers
  • Barbers, hair salons, and shoe-shine stands
  • Taxidermists
  • Funeral directing and embalming
Even if your company is in one of these categories, you can still choose to insure your workers through the WSIB.
Compliance for employers

Don't know how much it differs province to province though as it's all administered provincially.

As the con's house of cards comes tumbling down, all they can do is point fingers at everyone else. But I suppose it is the lefties fault that Harpo and crew got caught with their hand in the cookie jar. I'm sure it is all a CBC plot to get even for the shafting the cons are giving them. Oh well, tomorrow will be another day.

and you are an expert with that, being such a blind ideologue yourself.

And what ideology would that be exactly.

I don't belong to and never have any party.

For years I was so cynical about politics I didn't even vote.

Now my favorite political figures are traditional conservatives like Barry Goldwater and Robert Stanfield and I'd gladly join that party if people like Brent Rathgeber were in charge... and Peter MacKay hadn't sold out.

If you're going to make blind personal attacks they should be at least loosely based on reality, but that doesn't seem to stop people like you.

lol...ya..ok. I'm center to left leaning and it is PAINFULLY obvious to me and everyone else on this board that you HATE EVERYTHING about the Canadian C/conservatives and can find no wrong with the Liberals.

We'll make this poll REAL easy. All those that feel I am wrong about you...... start dropping the reds.

Obviously I struck a nerve with you, you should probably chill out before you any more of a fool of yourself.

BTW making blanket ad hominem attacks like this isn't discussion, it's an attempt to shut down another persons available avenues in discussion, something I find pretty disgusting. And so is claiming(falsely) that you enjoy universal support.

I'm not "discussing" anything with you. Just stating facts.
