I edited out the bullshîte .......LIAR!

TROLL! Hey here's a thought... your TROLLINESS, let's examine further. Why is this 6 month+ dated event so important to you that you keep resurrecting it, over and over again? Even the frontMan let it go... clearly, there's no need for you to act the loyal clubhouse lapdoggie anymore! Yet you persist... things that make you go, hmmmm! You have no basis for your liar charge... you admit so... you acknowledge you don't care you have no basis. So why the TROLL, your TROLLINESS? Are you that much of an attentionW-H-O-R-E? Do you really likee the drama, hey TROLL?

I "protest" to the same level as the TROLL trolls... he brings it up, I respond. In terms of your suggested "right"... when the guy has no foundation/basis to support his charge and he openly admits it... and openly acknowledges he doesn't care he has no foundation/basis, what would be your interpretation of "right"?

You're Nuts!

and you continually snipe attempting to create drama... more drama - your pattern is long established. And I could give a rats patooey what you think.

I doubt that is the cause, air would seem to be the factor as both the north and south pole gain or lose ice at the same time. Higher wind speeds would supply the answer as long as it was dry and cold which it would be after coming across the mountains of Alaska.
Uh no, the two do not gain or lose ice at the same time.

The Antarctic isn't a huge mystery. Take a look at a globe. What startling difference do you notice between the Northern and Southern Hemispheres?

That's right. The bulk of the landmass is in the north. That means that things like wind and currents are free to move and swirl about unhindered by land or mountain ranges in the southern reaches. The winds are constantly swirling around the Southern continent and the waters are rarely ever calm, and when they are it's only for a few hours before they get sporty again. This tends to keep the air and water temperatures consistently cooler than those in the Arctic.

you still burned cause I showcased your fake chops over your claim to be a liberal/Liberal? Geezaz, that was also over 6+ months ago. Do you guys never let anything go? Did you provide proof... if you can't provide proof... per your declaration in the other thread, you're a liar!

zounds! You're now into this across multiple threads too! Feeling frisky?

I note you didn't... couldn't... answer my question, hey!

Then perhaps you should start paying attention! Your present M.O. isn't winning you any friends! :)

All reports point to Greenland and Antarctic gaining ice each year. (allowing for the winters to be when most of that gain is) What you cannot have is one pole being ice free while the other one is at it's greatest mass of ice.

The towering cliffs of ice in the south are where glaciers from the land are calving. The winter ice that is added in the water should include sea-ice that is formed the same way it is in the northern ocean. In the south that combination would also mean it has a greater chance of the land getting lake effect snow but off the ocean so the snowfall could be very deep by the time a storm has moved on.
In the north the snow would come from cold air from Canada and warm mist air from the GOM and that would mean the same 'lake effect' snow would be possible only in the east as it would fall as rain in the west as moist Pacific air comes into Canada.
The ice in the north would just means the land gets cold rather than the cold stops when it hits land. Hudson Bay would be part of how far down the cold air goes. Today it can freeze the great lakes, that means the winters are colder or longer or both.

Baffin Island would be the first place in Canada's north that would gain ice that it never lost in the summer and it would get higher, same as the interior of the landmass in the south. (rather than the sea ice remaining around longer it would be glaciers 2 miles tall that would be the shoreline, like it is in the warmest time)

Provide proof that you didn't do what you say you did? Really? You really are a complete and utter moron, aren't you. Wouldn't surprise me at all to find out that you trip all over your feet when you pop a gum in your mouth. You and MHz must be related as you both have the same bullshyte, run off at the mouth posting style and you both lie through your teeth.

As for you burning me..... in your dreams little boy.

With Canada having the magnetic pole and it rapidly heading toward Siberia its only logical that Canada sees the results at an accelerated rate.

If the world was warming we should see a calming and moderation of climate.. and the main engine of extreme weather... which is the interaction between cold and warm fronts become less pronounced. You should never see regional differences since the theory predicts a gradual homogenization of climate as the Earth warms. Since we are seeing the opposite, the AGW lobby.. has decided to claim ANY weather is the result of Global Warming. They really are quite shameless in their lies.

The visible losses of ice are in the northern hemisphere. Someone pointed out a while back that Antarctica was gaining ice, which is true in a sense; it is gaining surface ice. However, it is losing ice mass/volume faster than ice shows up on the surface. Why? Likely because the oceans are rising in temperature (about 2° C in the past 30 years according to the weather stations there and the western Southern Ocean is warming faster than the eastern).

Coldslime, you are attempting to convince people that your opinions are facts again. It is not working. Your grasp of climatology is extremely limited.

The icons of Global Warming keep changing. Remember all the patter about a 'iceless' arctic.. about receding glaciers.. about the disappearing subarctic ice shelf. All were proven to be normal cycles of weather, all returned to normal patterns.

We're just going to have to realize that this has NOTHING to with science. This is a philosophical and political agenda.. a cult.. that has risen above the need to prove it case. It has moved into the realm of that which must be accepted on the basis of faith.

It is driven by the deep pessimism and inertia that has gripped the West as Christianity has declined. It has been replaced by superstition, fear, hopelessness of which AGW is a manifestation.

It is irrational, a revolt against the culture driven by reason, science, morality and technology of which the civilizational impulse of the West originated. It harkens a bleak period.. a New Dark Age.

The heat in the biosphere has remains constant over any measurable period.. it is simply redistributed amongst the various climate media of the earth.. land, ocean, air.
