I was born in Canada, only aquired my U.S. citizenship via my "ex-wife."

Was I attempting to insult you?

I know your history, you only mention it every other day ad nauseam.

I would have agreed with you, but FINLAND has the most lakes.

scratch

Canada has the most lakes of any nation.

It has over two MILLION lakes, which is more than the rest of the world COMBINED.

In countries that are small (in land area), such as Britain, this would be very noticeable, but because Canada is so vast these lakes cover just 8% or so of its area.

Finland has 187,888 lakes.

Canada has over 3 million lakes . . . more than every other country in the world combined.

There are some two million lakes in Canada, covering about 7.6 percent of the Canadian landmass. The main lakes, in order of the surface area located in Canada (many large lakes are traversed by the Canada-U.S. border), are Huron, Great Bear, Superior, Great Slave, Winnipeg, Erie and Ontario. The largest lake situated entirely in Canada is Great Bear Lake (31,328 km2) in the Northwest Territories. The deepest lake is Great Slave Lake, N.W.T., 614 metres.

I won't nit-pick with you on this.

Too true.
But argumentative, no.

A matter of semantics....

again, I can't find hard stats, but, I'd be willing to guess that we have the most km's of road per capita of any other country.

Canada has the most beautiful women.

Hold your britches on! Have you had your vision checked lately? It is a well known fact that all the modeling agencies from New York and Paris come to Dallas or Houston to look for beautiful tall models.
