Your article is before the latest pipeline cancellations which environmentalists are happy about because it greatly reduces carbon emissions.

They thank you for your support in their cause.

Actually it means the same oil needs to be transported by trucks or train .... both of which use fossil fuels to operate therefore it actually increases the amount of carbon in the air.

Well they sure as f*ck won't be rolling them out in my city. The City has banned Uber from operating within city limits.

And Tesla is a joke. In California they're begging the state govt to continue subsidizing their EV sales because they already sold all the units the subsidy/rebate applied to. The other car makers haven't reached that threshold yet so now Musk is whining that Tesla is in an uncompetitive situation with the other EV makers.

America is making more progress then Canada under Trumps leadership?

You’re right. Mentalflake is definitely going to lose his fuking mind over this one
Let unsaid is the progress they are making is by ending funding for climate warming. This Arctic air is going to be around for the whole month of Nov. Perhaps we should take Trumps move as being the one that most resembles what the ground is showing.

Meanwhile Nova Scotia basks on the eastern side of the jet stream and as of today it is sunny and warm with sub tropical breeze from the south west. I cannot ever recall days like these this late in the year. Lots of snow in BC however .

If we get a really hard blast at the first we still have to get some of the -30 stuff before the chill lifts so spring comes closer to the end of January. This year I think I'll leave the snow in place and just disturb it with a leaf rake so it turns into hard packed snow. If people don't have to lock their hubs it should be good to go. In the meantime it takes 10 minutes to get dressed just to let the dog out.
I can't find my scarf, Quebec has some extra face masks do they not??

Follow the rain, in the past if rainfall move into the desert regions nobody would have known that and they would have stayed in place and eventually died of starvation. Move with the rain and all that would be needed is to improve the landscape for better fields that suited the rain it was getting.
Old garbage is probably recyclable, last resort a global garbage pit in the trenches only the oceans have. That can work for 1,000's of years.
Say California had insisted on a terraced landscape for hilly locations. Today there would be no wild fires and the potential for crops would be increased as would room for houses.

Hell of an idea. Thousands of hills (and f**King mountains) to terrace! :)

To formulate a plan someone has to have some accurate information!

Wet snow and steep hills makes for an interesting youtube playlist. For once it's not the drivers fault. Somebody should make some cheap plastic traction devices and then put them on before it's too late.
That same air could dump how much snow or ice on you??

I know a guy who is buying one and they are VERY expensive, yet the subsidies aren't so bad either. Why are we subsidizing hysteria?

Good thing Trump is in charge cause Trudeau hasn’t done shit for the Paris agreement, while America has made great progress

Some of the cars in traffic might not restart (pick any part of AB). Ceramic heater cores would solve most of that issue as they could be on for 20 minutes before the engine was started and the battery is back to full power by the time the engine is warm. You could retro fit all vehicles in use today. How about hot and cold seats as well as an insulated floor that can do the same? Lamps from a chick brooder might be pushing it unless it is powering a hotplate or grill.

Nothing like jumping onto a seat that doesn't budge a mm to let you know how cold it is. 10min every 4hrs solves that issue. Flat spots on bias-ply tires.
