OH DEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And how would 69 years worth of continental drift have affected the shore line...................and the LIE-beral measuring platforms???????????????????

Author Michael Crichton points out in his book "State of Fear" that weather stations that have been in existence for a long time are producing ever more UNRELIABLE DATA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the best approach to reversing "climate change" is for every individual to do a little bit and keep politics right out of it. Be as conservative as possible in the use of resources, substitute man power for mechanical power, keep the local area clean and tidy and get rid of useless electronic gadgetry.

Let's suppose the Isthmus of Chignecto refills, cutting NS off from NB, making not only NS an island, but isolating Aulac, NB and affecting Sackville itself.
Was it flooded 2100 years ago when it was 2C warmer than today?

Back then there was no where near the glaciation so obviously sea levels were considerably higher.

Was it or was it not flooded at that point in time?

No.

It's not the "hottest" ever. The amount of glaciation today is still more than there was 500 years ago when warmer than today.

All the "global warming" we have experienced is merely a return to average after 400 years of the coldest climate in the history of modern man and glaciers grew to their maximum extent in 8000 years.

Fearing average is preposterous and illogical.

I know being normal in today's society is taboo but you have no choice in the matter.

The Paris Accord has set a "sustainable level" of 80,000,000bbl of oil per day reduced from our current consumption of 100,000,000bbl per day.

Does that make sense to you? It doesn't to me.

It's still 80,000,000bbl per day in a closed system. CO2 will still rise and allegedly so would temperature.

When we cut those 20,000,000bbls per day and allegedly save ourselves from certain death will you pat yourself on the back or will you feel used?

Maybe, just maybe "Big Oil" wants to "Big Energy"?

They are after all investing more money in renewables than anyone else.

Are you willing to hand over all energy to a single overlord?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everybody do a little bit???????????????????????????????????

JLM......................YOU ARE NOT PAYING ATTENTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The LIE-beral carbon crap and trade tax SCAM is DESIGNED to MAKE SURE that LIE-berals and their allies DO NOT NEED TO CHANGE ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The LIE-beral carbon SCAM is designed so the ordinary people who already have the smallest carbon foot print...............

are FORCED to shrink it even smaller!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So that the LIE-berals and their allies........................................

with the BIGGEST carbon foot print GET TO EXPAND THEIR CARBON USE FURTHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes- the LIE-beral SCAM is designed to PROTECT LIE-beral entitlements!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the great DIRTY FACT standing in the way of public acceptance of LIE-beral carbon crap and trade tax SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IT IS A FRAUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is a LIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is ALREADY A FAILURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is why LIE-berals are now telling us that their vaunted Paris Accord is completely useless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LIE-berals could save the environment in one stroke- simply by prohibiting air travel and forcing their Hog allies to take trains instead!!!!!!!!!!

And nobody ever seems to HIJACK trains........................................

But train travel is slower than air travel and thus IT IS NOT SUITABLE for ENTITLED LIE-berals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why should some poor kid struggling to pay the rent on some grubby little apartment along with student loans, get hit with carbon crap

tax scams when his former teachers - who used their union with its MONOPOLY STRANGLEHOLD on our education system to milk

the kid like a cash cow-are living in a big house and spending their summers buzzing around the lake on a seadoo.....................and

spending their winters ripping around on a a skidoo??????????????????

In addition..........the teachers have installed "bubble systems" around their recreation property dock to prevent ice damage to the dock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And they run those compressed air electrically operated bubble systems 6 months per year.................................

compared to the kid who is struggling to pay for a couple months use of an air conditioner????????????????????????

Orwell said best when the frustrated Horse in his book Animal Farm pointed out "NOT animals are created equal"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our LIE-beral overlords are WORKING HARD to ensure the inequality GROWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Saskatchewan premier criticized for plan to go to rally

REGINA - Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe is planning to speak at a rally this week where one of the organizers doesn't believe climate change poses a threat to the planet.
The Rally Against the Carbon Tax protest and truck convoy is scheduled for Thursday in Regina.
Jason LeBlanc, a farmer from southern Saskatchewan, helped organize the event after travelling to Ottawa with a convoy of pro-energy industry supporters earlier this year.
In an interview with The Canadian Press, he called himself a "climate-change doomsday denier."
He says he believes climate changes in natural cycles, and he does not back science that says the planet is warming because of human activity and requires interventions.
Moe says he believes climate change is a global challenge but people can have different opinions about its effects.
NDP Opposition Leader Ryan Meili says the premier's attendance at the Thursday rally sends the wrong message.
Meili wants Moe to declare to the crowd that climate change is real.

Yes.................not only are some animals MORE EQUAL than others......................

as Orwell pointed out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LIE-berals think some animals are MORE ENTITLED to SPEAK than others!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hypocrisy and double dealing reign supreme at LIE-beral party headquarters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have only to look at the scandalous criminal MESS that is the European carbon crap and trade tax scam.................................

that Our idiot Boy modeled his version on .............................................

to recognize the LIE-beral mandated DISASTER we are getting hit with!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry Mowich... Canada is one of the worst offenders alongside Russia, China and Brazil.

Canada among worst offenders as world falls short of climate-change targets

Okay. I can give that people don't think climate change is man made.

To me it doesn't make sense to say we haven't affected things, but fine, your opinion, whatever.

But to deny it's changing at all is the biggest mistake ever, IMO.

And to do nothing about it because "it's happened before" is also a mistake. Even if you believe but don't think it's a big issue, really stop and think:

Has there ever been the amount of PEOPLE on the planet before, with all our homes, businesses and so on that WILL be affected, when past climate changes have happened?

What do you think will happen when that change DOES affect us?

And it WILL, it HAS to.

In the end, people can argue what is causing it until the cows come home (maybe). But what to DO about it needs to be something we seriously have to discuss. We either spend the money now to try and minimize what damage we can, or just f-it and wait until it's too late, which should NOT be an option. To me, that goes hand in hand with pushing our tech to find ways to do what we do, but more Environmentally friendly. What the frig is wrong with that? Really? More expensive? Sure, right now, but you can't say what it'd be cost wise in the future.

I truly do not understand why so many people just do not give a shyte at ALL about the only home we have. How many of them spend time mowing their lawns, caring for their yards, cleaning their homes all in the name of 'care', yet doesn't give any concern at all for the broader home we ALL share....?

Great , how does giving more of our hard earned money to government general revenue change anything ? How do we reduce our collective emissions to 1990 levels when we are actively trying to grow our population?

Nobody is denying that there is climate change, it always changes, do humans contribute to it? Probably, to the extent that fanatics are saying? Not a chance. a lot of this is being promoted by alternative energy companies to get rich, there can be a balance between Carbon energy, economy, environment until the next energy source comes, electricity is not it right now to supply the energy to run this world.

We are changing believe it or not, humans adapt and change always have and always will, otherwise we would have been extinct centuries ago. Running around like chicken little is not helping, if one is to look behind chicken little one would find somebody trying to peddle a magic solution to the problem.

If one is really concerned about Carbon one shouldn't cut or maintain their yard let it go to seed it will trap much more carbon that way in the seeds and the roots

Except I am watching the climate change right before my eyes, in this very area.

Besides, worrying about one does not mean I exclude worrying about the other. Both are equally worrisome and it is possible to feel that way. Just sorry that you're a one issue kind'a person.

Sure.............you and Dicaprio. LOL

Substitute man power for mechanical power the AIRHEAD SUGGESTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How CLUELESS ARE YOU???????????????????????????????????

Do you think LIE-berals and civil service union Hogs will ride their bicycles to Florida????????????????????????????

Will they take hot air balloon rides to Muskoka?????????????????????????

Or will they use the new Porter Airlines flights in fossil fueled aircraft to commute north????????????????

With nice air conditioned limousine rides between air ports???????????????????????

And dont let that imbecile HOID convince you that electric powered limousines are the answer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know the combination of short range and battery killing air conditioning in summer heat will leave the electric TOYS stranded in the dark!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Hogs have already invested huge heaps of cash in their seadoos and atv`s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do yo think they will now JUNK all the gas powered TOYS they have acquired and actually break a sweat paddling or raking or WALKING????????????????????????????????????

WTF is wrong with you?????????????????????????

Ethics wanted: Call Lib. party of Canada with any spare Ethics you have lying around Lol

McKenna's office planted questions in Senate: Tory

OTTAWA - Conservative Sen. Jean-Guy Dagenais says Environment Minister Catherine McKenna's office tried to plant questions with friendly senators on the Senate's environment committee to help get the government's message across on its new environmental-assessment legislation.
Dagenais says an email sent in late January shows a co-ordinated effort among senior policy advisers and directors in the departments of environment, natural resources and transport and the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency to develop questions on Bill C-69 that could be asked of their officials when they appeared to talk about the bill.
The email says McKenna's staff would work with senators to feed the questions to committee members as an opportunity to highlight what they saw as the bill's good points and do some "myth busting" against criticism of the bill.
It also says the assistant deputy minister of the environment wanted to review the proposed questions and specifically wanted the officials who would be appearing at the committee to weigh in on what they wanted to be asked.
Dagenais says he would like to know whether this practice of planting questions with friendly senators is specific to McKenna's office or if it is a cabinet-wide practice.
A spokeswoman for McKenna says the minister and her staff work with the government representative in the Senate as well as the sponsors of bills, to make sure senators have the information they need on the legislation but that "as a general practice, we do not plant questions."

Except people ARE denying it. They say it's 'weather'. It's why there's always such a damned argument over whether it's even happening.

In the end, it shouldn't matter if humans are adding to it to the extent people think or not. It's going on, it's changing and while I agree there are likely some companies who are out to profit off of it (like most companies), there are also others who likely aren't, who truly DO want to help make things better. Problem is they're lumped in with all the other asshole companies and thus all their efforts are seen as money grabbing and rejected.

We are changing believe it or not, humans adapt and change always have and always will, otherwise we would have been extinct centuries ago. Running around like chicken little is not helping, if one is to look behind chicken little one would find somebody trying to peddle a magic solution to the problem.

Sure we're changing, just not enough to meet what could be possible. Considering this has been going on for years, all the warnings, no one's running around like chicken little, but rather people have been warning the fox was approaching the hen house, stalking the hen house, digging under the fence to the hen house and the dumbass farmer didn't pay attention. Now the fox is almost in and instead of being pissed at himself, the farmer is blaming the dog for not alerting him earlier when he could have done something about it BEFORE things got serious.

The other problem is that there IS no magic solution, and most people would say there isn't. But there are things we can TRY that aren't being tried, because again it's seen as money grabbing and then rejected.

If one is really concerned about Carbon one shouldn't cut or maintain their yard let it go to seed it will trap much more carbon that way in the seeds and the roots

I cut my lawn as little as possible and then when it is cut, I leave it fairly tall compared to the 'need to be golf green' short most people think it should be. I STOP cutting the lawn in September. I don't START cutting until June (depending on weather) which doesn't just give grass the time to grow, but gives the 'weeds' - dandelions - a chance to really pop up and help with the bees and other insects.

I don't use fertilizers or growers or any other enhancers.

My dad is one of those 'my lawn needs to be near perfect' kind of guys. No dandelions, no weeds, gives it growers sometimes...

Hell, part of my 'lawn' isn't lawn, but crud moss and forest undergrowth and one patch is all wild from being left after trying for a garden.

My point is though, overall, WHY can't we take care of the planet we have and push to invent things that will help protect our environment as much as possible? Why is it such a fight to do that? Coal is dirty, Oil is finite and not all that great either... yet pushing for other tech always meets resistance. Expensive? Sure, it will be - at first. Everything usually is. Then it goes down. But it won't go down if we don't even use it because of fear from the older 'we won't change' companies who don't give a shit about the world, just their profit margins.

The sun is going to burn out when? not sure, but maybe we should start preparing for it

What evidence are you holding that says Human intervention will make a difference one way or the other? Or are you another one that believes that they can control the weather then change the climate, if so I have a 5-6 figure salary to control the weather for farming. ;)

Well, there's the basics. Like carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas. That's not politics, that's physics. So less CO2, less greenhouse.
