They're dinosaur footprints.

Funny there are literally thousands of those boats on the west coast.

Didn't need any"experts" to make a replica because there are still functional examples around.

Do they date back to the Bronze Age?

The Hanson Log Boat, found in Shardlow, Derbyshire, in 1998 dates back to 1,500BC.

The Ark is on Mount Ararat in the far east of Turkey, near the borders with Armenia, Iran and Azerbaijan.

Are you sure they're not beer cans from the 1960's? According to you that is all we have here in N. America.

pwned.

We're talking about the history of a species of great ape, here, closely related to the gorilla and the chimpanzee (i.e. humans), not an extinct species of reptile.

So true. The brits are just excited that it is possible that their ancestors made them as well.

And it takes a brit "expert" to hollow out a log. That is how stupid they are.

The difference being is that these Bronze Age people ARE our ancestors, whereas these Native American savages are the ancestors of just 5 million people in America.

The boats probably ended when it was discovered that leaving the log whole and tying a few together made for a 'better boat'. It was so much better that it even got it's new name, a raft.

Unless you're one of a just a few Red Indians, then the Red Indians aren't your ancestors.

Also, I'm still waiting for a picture of a Bronze Age North American boat.

Goodmorning BL. I was reading the other day about Brighton beach and the megalithes somewhere near that were piled into a breakwater. Do you have any idea of these as the are reputed to be massive? Of course the bronze age boat was a very interesting find and I thank you very much for bringing it to our attention. I do enjoy your posts despite the fun I sometimes have with them. Kepp up your informative contributions.

How many Bronze Age log boats have been found in Canada? I've been doing research on this and I can't find any examples of Bronze Age log boats in Canada at all. Whereas, here in Britain, eight were found in 2013 alone.

Congrats. GB geology is better at preserving wooden boats. As I said, whoop de doo.

Yes I bloody well am.
You "am" something alright. But correct is not it.

No, they bloody haven't. The oldest stone tools in North America were buried in sediments that are between just 13,200 and 15,500 years old.
Nope. Someone recently found a doodad in OR that dates back to about 16,000 years ago. And that is just in our local area near the Pacific coast.

1960s beer cans are about the oldest archaeological finds that are made in North America. Anything pre-dating 1900 is ancient history to you lot. You think Victorian buildings are old.
Like I said, correct, you are not.

Ape? Now THAT I can believe you are. Great, though; that is debatable.
You do know that homo sapiens sapiens is not homo erectus, right? Nah, of course you don't, Blackape.

The difference being is that these Bronze Age people ARE our ancestors, whereas these Native American savages are the ancestors of just 5 million people in America.
Not too long ago scientists found Neanderthalensis DNA in Europeans. After seeing you post, I am in a quandary now ... just which of the two you are, Neanderthalensis or ape.

Talking to a brit about geology Anna?!

They are mesmerized with their hollowed out logs, how do you expect them to know geology?

You are cruel.

99.9 times out of 100, I'm right.

Still a long way to go to match the nearly one MILLION year old stone tools found in Britain.

Ape? Now THAT I can believe you are. Great, though; that is debatable. You do know that homo sapiens sapiens is not homo erectus, right? Nah, of course you don't, Blackape.

Humans are one of the great apes, with the chimpanzees and gorillas our nearest living relatives.

The last Neanderthals lived on British territory - Gibraltar.
