Bill is out there for one more fight to help the social conservatives win some kind of
traction for the upcoming Provincial election which will be coming a lot sooner than
most people realize. It won't be two years down the road either. The Liberals will
attempt to save themselves in the next year knowing it is not likely. The NDP knew
the gig was up when they held their leadership convention and went to the people.
Ujjal was dead in the water, and he was the worst leader the New Democrats ever
had, he was really a closet Liberal with nothing but self interest on his mind.
The wonderful thing about politics is it is a living thing actually, The NDP has made
a lot of changes, so have the recent Liberals and Billy is not the same leader material
he was before either. Some will remember New Brunswick years ago a premier named
Hatfield he was so bad that McKenna took every seat in the house at the following election.
some said the Tories would never get elected there again. That did not turn out to be the
case however, and the same it true here in BC.

Glen Clark holds that distinction by a country mile, Ujjal has a brain and at least is sincere and was a sincere New Democrat having spent time at onerous jobs like pulling lumber off the green chain. Clark had no brains (sure buy three of something you know nothing about so you can try one out) to say nothing that he is a "hotdog".

BC CONSERVATIVES ONLY PARTY IN BC GOING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION

Right direction! Hahahaha!

Nice wording in the policy statement but we all know that with any political party, they are empty words.

Nevermind the infighting among the B.C. Conservatives...

Our best hope for change in the province was the STV but that didn't meet the 60% requirement, no doubt thanks to Dorris the Grandmother in Cowichan / Okanagan Valley.

There has been huge changes in the psychological political structure of provinces since the time of WAC. In those days it was a good thing to use public money to build infrastructure and industry because the people retained ownership and profits eased taxation. With everything sold off the only income is ridiculous royalty structures, taxation and user fees.

You're half right, Wacky was good, young Bill didn't have the old man's acumen, just an opportunist and poor planner.

Met both of them. Billy the kid was not much use. More like a talking head riding dadies coattails. Still worlds better than Vanderscam though. My vote goes to anyone that can keep the dippers out of my bank account.

Of course, because the social credit or "liberals" are so much better to have in your "bank account".

Yes because the Liberals have put money back into my bank account by cutting taxes. Income taxes have dropped about 30% since the Liberals saved us. True some of that has been taken back by fees and other spending taxes but I have some control over what I pay in sales taxes and fees by controlling my spending. Now if the government could just learn to control their spending instead of buying votes with social programs that do nothing for those that actually pay taxes all would be well.

Sure can't argue with that.
