He was the last of a breed of republicans. He was honorable. He got snowed by the GOP on economics when he ran for president and so undid his previous economic fairness on policy. But lots of people got snowed. He may have saved healthcare for Americans. That was the old John McCain. I did not agree with him on everything obviously. But he was an honest man. And we need more like him on the right. RIP
Not quite, he has 1 to go. He died unrepented so Jesus will not be waking him up so he is alive for the 1,000 years. God will do that at the Great White Throne event so that means in the New earth he is part of the Flock rather than being a Shepherd. Neil Simon, the playwright and screenwriter whose indestructible comedies -- including "The Odd Couple," "Barefoot in the Park," "The Sunshine Boys" and "Brighton Beach Memoirs" -- made him one of the most successful writers in American history, has died. He was 91.
The cause of death was complications with pneumonia, according to a statement from public relations firm DKC/O&M.
Simon died sometime overnight Saturday at New York-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City, the statement said.

Well, he does seem to have a propensity of telling things the way they are. Maybe a little too truthful at times! But you can't please everybody.
