But giving into the USA always fixes problems... Always

How did anyone give in to the states? We have an agreement with them? We have followed that agreement. Our courts found that the request was valid and that the extradition should proceed.

Trump demanding the extradition of the Huawei executive on suspicions of wrongdoing (in another country I might add) while at the same time the USA is having a big trade conflict with China?.... What a coin-ki-dink!

Like I said, our courts reviewed the evidence and found that the request was legal. Or are you suggesting our courts have been bought and paid for by trump?

Right, because giving in to china will solve all problems.

Don't worry, we have a real diplomat at the helm now. I guess after Trudeau failed his USSC bid, any warm body will do in this portfolio.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau names Bob Rae as Canada's new ambassador to the United Nations

With Justin's track record of firing and then re-hiring abysmal failures with his appointments (ie. Gerald Butts), I'm actually genuinely surprised he didn't appoint John McCallum.

The detention was the problem... No proof, other than an allegation was made.

RE: Trump 'owning' Cdn Courts - Fact is, truide has no balls and could have easily required the 'evidence' while not detaining the lady for more than what our system allows

Btw, our prime minister has no right to meddle in our judiciary. Are you suggesting that we should give him the right and power to do that?

What do you suggest I do.. i know, I'll deploy my vote despite it being useless as I'm not in Ont or Que... That'll fix him

Right, that's it, let him continue to do illegal things and dont vote. That will definitely show him.

What I do and will continue to do is vote against him and his party as well as continue to write and contact my local mp to voice my dissatisfaction.

Do you know what the word 'deploy' means?

PS - The Libs didn't earn a single seat in the Prairies.... Fat lot of good a vote in AB or SK has

You better study up on the Act , I believe Canada’s hands were/are tied on this matter . I am sure if legally possible Trudeau would have seen her released .

That very well may be the case, regardless, the US took a chicken-sh*t tactic to get Canada to do their dirty work and when it's all said and done, she was accused of wrongdoing as opposed to having been convicted.... It also didn't help that Trump opened hi mouth and insinuated that the action occurred in relation to the trade dispute with China

Canada needs to be careful. Xi Jinping is Stalin, Mao and Hitler all in one.

If Nikita Khrushchev was trying to build our communication network, would you want it?

CSIS says "No f-cking Hua way".

I know you are older than 35 so you should know what a Cold War looks like when you see one.

In the US both parties are unified in no Huawei.

Biden wont change a thing.

I recall as a kid the mood relative to the cold war although this time around, the 'combatants' are deeply involved with each other on the trade front... Adds an interesting twist

No doubt that you'll recall that tater senior was a big, big fan of communism and this trait was definitely passed onto his kid... Hell, trudie has already publicly announced his admiration for the Chinese gvt.... If he remains in power, I just can see so many gaffes happening.

I guess that this is what a post-national state looks like

The same techniques used by Mao during the Cultural Revolution are being used on us right here, right now.

Shaming, discrediting those who speak the truth, propaganda, subfactions, etc etc etc.

Woke....pfffffb. Woke up to being the Proletariat and no clue it happened.
