Bombardier isn't the problem. Unifor is the problem.

B... b... but the poor benefit so much from this! Without subsidies, Bombardier products would be even more expensive. How else is a destitute person counting his nickles supposed to afford to buy a Bombardier product?

Do you have the income to buy one of their products? I don't and I'm rewarded handsomely for my services.

Not unless I'm willing to sell all of my investments, and even then it would hurt. That's why the government needs to subsidize the hell out of it so the man on social assistance can afford bombardier products. Heck, why not just give all Canadians a bombardier voucher that we could trade with people who want to by Bombardier products.

I have no issue in saving a company that employs Canadians. The issue I have is when the said company says we desperately need money to remain afloat, help? and then turn around and use part of this very money to give executives pay raises!! These are people who already make figures like 14 million!

I was in favour of subsidizing Bombardier (to a certain extent) to keep Canada and,Canadians active players in a high tech industry.Everybody does it, one way or another for roughly the same reason.

I have changed my mind, however after this disgraceful corruption came to be surface. The top execs at Bombardiers seem to be totally unrepentent, too. They seem to think that it's their right to steal from taxpayers.

Not to mention that they are also moving some of the jobs to Mexico. If they get taxpayer money, they should be committed to some austerity internally and local labour only.
