Unf, I wish I had the luxury of retirement so I can debate this issue without work getting in the way. But unfortunately I have some years left yet before I can devote such valuable time. Maybe I can retire early and supplement my income with a bit of sealing activity...who knows. In any event, I appreciate and respect your stance on the sealing issue. You at least debate with conviction even if you're focus is off a bit.;-)

You brought up a couple of important issues in your last post that deserve further exploration. Like the Cod Issue. We could write another 5 or 6 pages on that topic alone. But this one is about seals. We seem to be regurgitating the same opinions at each post so I say we are at a standoff. You say black I say white.

Have an excellent day!

Come on your time isn't that valuable. heh heh
The facts I've posted remain. I haven't see anyone you included dispute them in anyway other than to say your opinion is different.

As always feel free to have any kind of day you want to. :p

But the animals slaughtered in the commercial slaughter are only stipped of their pelts. The rest of the seal is left on the ice.

I have a problem with this part. I'd be in favor of finding a use for the meat, not banning the hunt.

BTW, if you don't have anything to add related to topic of the debate, then don't post anything.

I would be infavour of expanding the Inuit hunt rather than the east coast slaughter. If there was some development of a meat market and the methods were humane and regulated to meet with the same quality as domestic livestock.

Yeah Tenpenny. :p
