I find them amusing. I find it equally amusing that people get so bent out of shape over Justin Trudeau's feelings being hurt.
I really doubt they matter to Trudeau or Harper or the NDPQ guy, it's what they are paid to do.

Hair. Attacking somebody's hair? Tell me how that is intelligent, mind changing inspiration to vote Conservative, NDPQ or Greenie Weenie?

On CC attack all you want, that is why CC is here.

Incase you're wondering if I like Libs or some "Trudeau fan'? I'll sign my name Pete, Peter, Pedro, Petros, Petr but NEVER EVER will you see me go by Pierre.

The hair thing is amusing. I think the underlying issue is that Liberals are absolutely terrified that history will repeat itself a third time. That is why they are freaking out about the Harper Government defining Justin before he figures out how to define himself. Kind of reminds me of the scene from THE LONGEST YARD when Burt Reynolds bag tags the guy in the nuts with the football. Worked once, might as well do it again.

You wouldn't be attacking my intelligence. As I said, I dumped all my cable, so no commercials on my television. In fact the only political ADS I see (Attack or otherwise) are on CC or if somebody whines about them on the CBC.

Gotta say I am with petros on this, RCS. The ads are if not an attack on our intelligence per se, they 'assume' that the voting public is stupid enough to swallow what the ads are purporting. It matters not to me which party is doing it, negative ads do little to enhance the reputation of the party putting them out there. IMVHO.

Is that why they wore wigs in the house back in the day? Too many hair insults tossed back and forth affecting the day to running of the country?

I really doubt anybody in politics cares about hair. LOOK AT THEM!

But according to their psychologists who design ads, low intelligence voting Canadians do.

What difference does that make? Oh wait, are you insinuating that because his pop was PM qualifies him to the job. So why not elect this guy:

Secret ballot.
You're making insunations. I made a comparison. It's all part of smoke and mirrors and works both ways in reality

Nice.

I think Clement has the nicest hair of them all.

(except when he did sideburns)

If he were running in my riding while sporting those burns, I'd have voted for the other guy.

Well answer my question then. What difference does it make that Justin's father was PM?

I'll be honest with you Mowich, the ads mean little if anything. What does bother me is that the Liberals have still not come to terms with why the Canadian voter tossed them out in the first place. And I agree with you to a point, politicians across the board do not give the Canadian public much credit.

These ADs are simply outlining the facts on trudeau. Teacher, ski instructor poor attendance record and no experience as a Minister or back bencher... The Con ADs ask the question is he is even capable of leading the country - frankly, I have the same questions

These aren't like the traditional attack ads that speculate on possibilities like armed soldiers occupying the streets, suggestions of theocracy or personal insults (besides you'd have to answer to momma trudeau).

Seems to me that his general base of support is more upset that the Cons have ID'd the realities that the Libs wish weren't reality

The purpose of an attack ad is to negatively influence the public perception of your opponent. A failed attack ad negatively influences the public perception of the party that bought the ad. In essence, the Tories have launched an attack ad against themselves. Which would be ironic, had the Tories paid for it. Unfortunately they are using taxpayers money, which makes it just sad.
