You need more pills!!!

Maybe you should read Matthew 6:5 before you brag on your knowledge.....
Really?? For what reason? Perhaps you should read it first yourself. Don't you feel a bit silly right now??

M't:6:5:
And when thou prayest,

thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are:

for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets,

I prefer the alternative for time of danger.

Lu:18:10-14:
Two men went up into the temple to pray;
the one a Pharisee,
and the other a publican.
The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself,
God,
I thank thee,
that I am not as other men are,
extortioners,
unjust,
adulterers,
or even as this publican.
I fast twice in the week,
I give tithes of all that I possess.
And the publican, standing afar off,
would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven,
but smote upon his breast,
saying,
God be merciful to me a sinner.

I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other:
for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased;
and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

The next question is how can you reject something you don't even understand?

Only if society and/or govt give it said value. To logically presume something doesn't exist because you haven't yet discovered any proof might work in the courtroom, but that doesn't work in science or philosophy.
Actually, it does. If absence of evidence means nothing, why are we messing around with renewable energy or, for that matter, burning fossil fuels instead of going all in on perpetual motion machines?

You have no evidence that any dropped object has ever accelerated away from the center of the earth at 9.8m/sec/sec, but that doesn't mean it can't, right? So the Theory of Gravity is "just a theory" and you should be wearing your hard had on your chin in case you drop a hammer and it flies upward, right?

Actually drop a like pole magnet on a like pole magnet, or watch a volcano in action...
( mars rocks at the south pole remember?)
So, oooops
you are wrong
;)
...and yes, gravity is still just the theory of.

now you know why.

Why is Intelligence Negatively Associated with Religiousness?

Abstract
We present three models which attempt to explain the robust negative association between religion and intelligence: the Irrationality of Religion Model, the Cultural Mediation Hypothesis, and the Savanna-IQ Interaction Hypothesis. We highlight problems with each of them and propose that the negative religion-IQ nexus can be understood through substantially revising the Savanna-IQ Interaction Hypothesis. We argue that religion should be regarded as an evolved domain or instinct. Intelligence, by contrast, involves rising above our instincts. It follows that an inclination toward the non-instinctive will thus be an aspect of intelligence because it will help us to solve problems. Thus, intelligence will involve being attracted to evolutionary mismatch, to that which we would not be instinctively evolved to be attracted to. It is this, we argue, that is behind the negative religion-intelligence nexus. We respond to potential criticisms of our model and we examine how this model can be further tested.

Your mistake is assuming a lack of evidence is a permanent state. For example, the current theory behind cold fusion is entirely unworkable, yet that hasn't prevented people from investing their efforts into trying to make it a reality. All based on an assumption from a small experiment using a beaker of D2O and an electrode that has never really been replicated.

Your gravity example is not a good one since you don't seem to understand the difference between scientific law and scientific theory. Newton's Law explains how the force works between two objects. The Theory of Gravity on the other hand, seeks to explain why the objects attract each other. So yes, the Theory of Gravity is just that, a theory. Newton never really explained what gravity was beyond being a "force" or why it works the way it does, he simply calculated how the force acts on objects.

Heat is an anti gravity force then as gravity pulls mass together and heat make it expand. Apply that to an expanding universe, oh wait, that is way too clear and way too easy for it to be true.

If the expansion is increasing it is still heating up, if not then it is starting to cool down and shrinking takes place due to gravity.

just an aside: the persuit of cold fusion because it was thought to be a possibility in theory has generated so much research and advancement that General Fusion in Burnaby BC is the result and is having massive success.

Cold fusion is when all the stuff in your freezer gets stuck together.

I never really did understand why all the physicists want this to happen so bad.

really? as smart as you are, you can't see how the physicists, fridge manufacturers and the grocery store alliance are working together to force us all to buy more food then we need? It's clearly collusion designed to keep us food poor, while they rake in millions.

why would they seek to help mankind if they could be making so much more by having our stuff stick together and unusable?

If you think the cold fusion research is based on that one thing, then you're far more stupid than biology can account for.

Nonsense. Biological science is well familiar with the effects of repeated blows to the head.

Makes as much sense as the "global warming is a hoax" rubbish.

Once upon a time there was an enchanted garden containing a magic tree whose fruit was forbidden, but a talking snake convinced a gullible woman to eat it anyway, then she tricked her partner into eating it, and the result was that we all have an evil spell on us called original sin. Some thousands of years later along comes a man claiming he can fix that, but the folks don't take kindly to his meddling and nail him up on a piece of wood, where he snuffs it. He's magically re-animated by a supernatural force and now promises he can remove that evil spell and have us live forever in paradise, if we accept him as lord and saviour, believe the right things, and follow the proper rituals. But if we don't, it's an eternity of conscious torment in fire for us.

Sounds like a fairy tale to me. Terry Brooks (cf. The Shannara Chronicles) has produced over 30 volumes of much better fantasies than that.
