The one that went over your head.
Well, duh. If it went over my head then I can't say whether Wiki answered your question in the first place then, huh?

It seems all you do here is pick arguments within which you throw out red herrings and strawmen and other fallacious arguments and then insult people when they don't play.

Hey, Petros, do me a favour and find me a manifold bearing for a 1988 Willys Overlander, please.

It sounded to me as if the woman was subjected to crap that she wasn't even looking for, though. It wasn't just prayer. She wanted help with looking after her kids and got Sunday School classes and her kids stolen instead. If it were just that someone rolled out a prayer rug and prayed in front of her, I think she'd probably wait until they finished praying and proceed to get her "counselling".

Oh that is right... she happened to wander into a US District Court looking for help then all of a sudden she found herself in front of a judge who ordered her to take parenting courses or else she'd lose her kids.

And I forgot we are completely dismissing the counselor's word that the woman "seeking" counseling was the one who brought religion up in the first place.

My bad.

Freud and Jung would have a field day with those two "minds".

I like them, they're like toys, just wind them up and let them go, one is limited to big glossy pictures and the other is a victim of industrial farm poisons.

I can bring up religion without expecting to be subjected to Sunday School classes. But anyways, till there is more info bout events in this, I will leave you and the Greek rock to throw out more assumptions. =) Lots of assumptions and not much fact involved in this story. Well, also just the sayso of the two parties involved.

I think there were PLENTY of assumptions being tossed about. Heck someone even mentioned a return to The Dark Ages! ;)

it is a parents responsibility to teach their children about the different religions, and how they

are different and similar to each other, and it is also their choice and decision to either send or

not send their children to 'any' type of religious studies.

our children were taught about religions, and completely free to choose whatever they wanted as they

grew up, or even as children, if any of them wanted to attend any type of church, they could have.

we are living in a free country.

Want the reality of it? The real separation of Church and State? I'll fill you in if you ask nicely.

I'll ask politely. Please Petros, regale us with one of your lessons. I do so love them. I only wish they were as informative as they are entertaining.

Well that seemed to be one of the major issues in the article... somebody heard another's prayer.

Sure thing...

I walked into the session and the very first thing she said to me was, ‘I start my sessions by praying.’ When I expressed my concerns that I didn’t pray she said, ‘well this is what I do’ and she proceeded to say a prayer out loud.

... have a nice day!
