These atheists do realize that they don't have to be douchebags, right? How is what they are trying to do (by pushing their "beliefs" down everyone's throats) any different from what they are complaining that people that are Christian (or other religions) are doing? I am not overly religious, yet I don't find anything offensive about what he placed in his tweet. If you don't like it, don't read it! Simple.
I should add that by "these atheists" I mean the ones that complain about every little slight, not the majority of them that are just like everyone else.
Traditionally, it is the 'liberal' movement that opens the 'rights' door so far open that it pits one person's rights against another.
In this case, the Gov apparently has no right to express their position and in doing so, the aethist group is now pushing their morals and values onto this person.
BTW - Regardless of your stance on the separation of Church and State, freedoms and rights associated and/or related to religion are outlined in the US constitution... Walker was voted in by his constitutents and in the event that the electorate is upset about his reference to religious text, they can vote him out, or conversely, reelect him based on that element of his character.

Well, no, they probably don't. Douchebaggery knows no limits. I'm an atheist, but these people are pathetic. So the guy expressed a religious opinion, so challenge what he said, trying to suppress him is absolutely the wrong response. Always and forever. If free speech doesn't extend to the free expression of ideas you don't like, then you don't really believe in free speech.

Further, he has his rights (like everyone else) regardless of whether he/she is in office or not
