That was your claim, and now you're back peddling like a Pro-bowl cornerback.
And although I do love watching you toy with him like this, you are also allowing him to deviate away from the intended topic.

This isn't a complaint though.

Carry on, I made popcorn.

You misunderstand. I have read what birthers are saying. I'm asking you specifically to back up something you said specifically about one website.

You haven't posted a WND article that outright claimed Obama is an illegal alien. That was your claim, and now you're back peddling like a Pro-bowl cornerback.

I have already given you the archive link. Many of the articles in their imply that Obama is an illegal alien. All those are articles printed in WND.

I didn't ask you for an archive. I asked you for one single article. I'm not going to research your assertions for you. Burden of proof...show us. Just one article.

I have not visited this thread for a while, so I missed this post.

Look, I don’t want to do your work for you. I have given you a link to a huge big archive, where you will find plenty of such articles (where WND claims that Obama is not a US citizen). Here is one such article (from that archive).

Kenyan officials affirm: Obama 'son of this soil'

The very fact that WND reports such an article shows WND’s bias in no uncertain terms. Now, if you want to find more articles, find them yourself.

He doesn't address the many concerns that have been highlighted by other law enforcement agencies.

And some of the things he says are outright inconsistent with reality. Like this:

Boston, MA: Do you think this law will have a real impact on reducing the increased levels of drug and violent offenses, which I assume is the underlying point of the law?
Sheriff Joe Arpaio: Yes. In my jail today we have almost 100 people charged with murder and they're all illegally here. Plus many other violent crimes. If they were not in this country we would not have 18 percent of the people in the jails here that have many violent crimes.
I think the real reason is that they have violated the law by crossing that border and being here and if people violate the law they should be held accountable.

The association between immigration and crime is in the opposite direction:
Futurity.org – Drop in violent crime tied to immigration?

And to Bear, yes, I read all the opinions on the page I posted. There are genuine concerns there from a law enforcement perspective. Do you have any reason to think I didn't?

However, committing the grave error of believing those who have a boot on the ground, I would rather put my money on the credibility of Sheriff Joe Arpaio.

I would have thought Sheriff Joe would have been declared a National hero by now, but perhaps he's a Republican!:lol:

Brewer To Obama: ‘We’ll Meet You In Court’

Arizona Governor Jan Brewer has said that she will fight any attempt by the Federal government to overturn her state’s controversial new immigration law.
Brewer told CNN that Arizona is willing to engage in a legal battle with the administration over the statute, which has been publicly criticized by President Obama and several members of his inner circle.
"We’ll meet you in court," she said defiantly. "I have a pretty good record of winning in court."
Meanwhile, several media outlets are reporting that Obama has finally accepted Brewer’s request for a face-to-face meeting to discuss why the law is so important to Arizona citizens. Initially, the White House indicated that the president did not have time in his schedule to fit in a meeting with Brewer, who is in Washington this week to attend a governors’ meeting on homeland security issues, Fox News reports.
"The people of Arizona are discouraged," she said during the interview. "They’re fed up. We’ve had security flaws on the border for years now. And it’s time that we do something about it immediately."
Brewer also cited the results of several new polls that indicate that the majority of Americans support the new law, which will go into effect July 29.

If that's true, then quite obviously this issue is of NO concern to the feds.

They did met, but apparently the meeting was not fruitful. I think the best way to settle this is in courts.

But both sides could use this for political purposes. Republicans could stir up white racists against Hispanics, try to polarize the society even further, in the hope that racists will turn up in large numbers to vote in November. Democrats on the other hand, could stir up Hispanics (their natural constituency) and try to get them to show up in November in large numbers.
