Left brain in one head, right brain in another head, and lame brain in the third?
Funny, I thought the critter was supposed to have healed people with his hands. His "father" however, appears to be the bloodthirsty one. It seems kind of moot, though. If the guy existed at all, he died quite a few years back and only shows up in grilled cheese sandwiches and banana skins.

When the quote below offends millions of Christians (well, at least more than one on this forum) the poster gets a free pass.

Besides, you have opinions I don't think are very bright either, but I let them pass. Each to his own, and all that.
You're missing the difference between a direct insult to another poster ('You are an idiot') with a theoretical comment to a being that may or may not exist or have existed.

No, I am not, and there is NO difference.
You can call me - personally - any name you want. In my 71 years of life I am sure I have been called worse than that, by better people than you. I just consider the source. It takes a REALLY SMALL person to take offense to such name-calling.
But the diffrence is that AnnaG's post is offensive, derisive, disrespectful and to anyone and everyone who happens to have a view different from hers.
So, basically, I'd like the moderators to explain why is it OK to offend many, but not Ok to offend one?

It takes a very small and insecure person to take offense to someone else making a disrespectful comment about religion.
I see nothing of offensive in this post that would be considered an insult. Anna expressed her opinion to how she felt about the Almighty. We'll your almighty. Nope. I meant exactly what I said. I don't care if others have a different opinion, I wasn't speaking for them. But that the Christian god is a nasty piece of work was and is my opinion. So why would you take offense? Do you think you are the Christian god or Jesus for that matter?

TenPenny, rest assured, no matter what vile name you called me personally, I would only consider the source, and I would NOT report you. If you got banned for it, I would plead with the moderators to let you back on. After all, no condemnation is worse than the one coming from yourself.

So who did that? If anything all I did was show disrespect and offense to the Christian god, not its followers.
No rules need to be revised . There was a bonified priest here a couple of years ago that attacked gays , pagans athiest. He never got banned for it.
