The EMP wave of a galactic seyfert is more than enough to rattle measly little amino acid structures into new configurations and thus variations and mutations not to mention that blast melting 50,000 years of ice in just 5,000 years is pretty intense. Seyferts make for cool looking "eye" shapes when viewed as an oblate.
That is a good point, Cliffy. How did the entire human race start from Adam and Eve? Are we all a product of incest then? The answer may be that aliens mated with Adam, Eve, Kane, Abel and others and thus started the human race (if one is to believe the fable of Adam and Eve in the first place).
Oh and time is cyclical not linear and when living in a multi verse things do definetely go "bump" in the night but we are safe from their influences if we just ignore them.
