Rebates are an interesting thing. Other than create jobs for government employees, why charge a tax only to give it back? Or if only certain income groups get it back, is it really a tax on a product that everyone uses, or a wealth redistribution scam.

PepsiCo is refusing to make the temporary change for GST. I wonder what's going to happen for their rebellion. If a big corporation is refusing to make the temporary change, how is it for small businesses. Mind you, Trudy doesn't give a crap about businesses at all nor does he pay attention to "monetary issues" which is obviously quite plain to see, especially now. He doesn't care that his temporary "fix" will cost businesses money. He doesn't care that businesses simply pass increases in taxes & costs to their customers. So really, how much of this is a "savings" for the average consumer? He is the dumbest PM we've ever had & that's saying something.
