Well, to be fair, I started the topic based on countryboy's suggestion in this thread, which is why I started with his quote. So you weren't actually wrong.

Just talking about the weather can bring out many responses, I readonce that Canadians talk about the weather more than any other country in the world, seems silly, maybe we just don't know whatelse to say when we meet someone, so, oh yeah, what the heck am I going to talk to this person about, uh huh, "I wonder what it'sgoing to do today, have you heard a forecast"?
I'm still stuck with these posts that come out wierd, quotes won't show, smilies won't appear, paragraphs don't happen,don't know what to do about it, so thereit is.

S'truth, talloola. Everytime I phone my family back East, we never forget to talk about the weather in our various corners of the country. It isn't that we lack for anything else to talk about, it is just a matter of course that we compare notes on current conditions. Go figure. :smile::smile:

I'm the furthest thing from a computer wizard, but I'm wondering if your computer might be set to not display graphics? (Or something like that)...maybe someone else out there would have a suggestion on that one.

Talloola, I had nothing but problems with accessing certain features of the forum yesterday. From getting an error message that stuck with me upon loading, to not being able to access quick reply then not being able to use the quotes button or any of the smilies. Things seem a bit better today. Just wanted you to know so that you were not the only one having problems.
