Our own Boston Mayor Mumbles Menino started this off when Chik Fil A expressed interest in opening up a place in Boston. The Mayor said they were not welcome because the owner's stance on gay marriage.

I wonder when our Catholic Mayor is going to start kicking out the churches from Boston?

Boston has the dumbest mayor in the country... if not the world. Just listen to the clown if you can stand it....

Bull****. The guys a bigot like the rest of the right. Who in their right mind would give a **** if a gay couple got married? It's ignoramic nonsense supported by idiots like this fast food asshole.

Once the bigots get fed I'm sure he'll see business drop as time goes on and will declare bankruptcy in 4 or 5 years.

ChickFilA go bankrupt! Keep dreaming. There is no way they're going bankrupt. It's the best fast food chicken sandwich out there.

I'm on the right and I could care less who gets married. In fact , why should straight married people be the only ones that suffer in the institution of marriage?

"Triumph for the Right"?

More like those people who took part in this protest or whatever it was will embarrassingly have to explain to their children and grandchilden how they supported what will by that time be seen as bigotry.

The CEO of the company stated his opinion (which was the president's opinion a few weeks ago) and the left wanted to restrict his ability to carry on with his business because they disagreed with his opinion. Seems the left is the bigotted and intolerant side.

Do Gays have the full protection of the US Constitution?

You're funny.

As if that would happen. US Libs are so daft.

If that's directed towards me, I have to say not seeing that opposing gay marriage will be seen as bigotry in the future is the real daft belief. If public opinion has changed so much in support of gay marriage after only ten years, imagine what it's going to be like in twenty or fifty more years.

My guess is that people who are still alive by then who took part in the Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day thing yesterday will hope that nobody remembers or points it out because they will feel like those protesters in the 1960s who were angry that schools were being desegregated.

Former Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee, if he's even remembered by the next two generations, will be "that former governor who ran for President, failed at it, and then went crazy and endorsed bigotry against gay people".

It's kind of sad really. You can see this train wreck coming for them, and yet "the Right" (as this thread calls them) just throws more coals onto the fire and picks up speed toward it.

That's got to be the most ridiculous support for a cause one believes in in history.

Many posters and newsrooms have got the story bassackwards, it's not about homosexual marriage, it's about freedom of speech and fighting against the tyranny of the guvmint telling Americans what they should think and trying to punish citizens when they express ideas opposed to the guvmint.

Free speech is not the topic- His stance on Gay rights is- And still you have not answered the question- Do Gays in the US have the full protection and rights as guaranteed under the Constitution. Is that a hard one Walter or are you avoiding answering.

Here Are 5 Christian Companies That Join Chick-fil-A in Publicly-Proclaiming Their Bible-Based Views

Chick-fil-A isn’t the only company willing to share its Christian faith with the world. While attaching a specific religious view to a product or service holds the potential to turn a portion of consumers off, some business leaders and companies stick to their values and intentionally include them in their packaging and messaging. Some of these brands include: Forever 21, Interstate Battery, Tyson Foods, In-N-Out Burger and Hobby Lobby.

Don't know why the 'tolerant left' should have such a hair up their collective arses about the darn Christians.

Appears that their Christian convictions also have led to Federal Convictions. So I find that their Christian convictions lack in creditability.
