Our own Boston Mayor Mumbles Menino started this off when Chik Fil A expressed interest in opening up a place in Boston. The Mayor said they were not welcome because the owner's stance on gay marriage.

I wonder when our Catholic Mayor is going to start kicking out the churches from Boston?

Boston has the dumbest mayor in the country... if not the world. Just listen to the clown if you can stand it....

More like those people who took part in this protest or whatever it was will embarrassingly have to explain to their children and grandchilden how they supported what will by that time be seen as bigotry.

The CEO of the company stated his opinion (which was the president's opinion a few weeks ago) and the left wanted to restrict his ability to carry on with his business because they disagreed with his opinion. Seems the left is the bigotted and intolerant side.

If that's directed towards me, I have to say not seeing that opposing gay marriage will be seen as bigotry in the future is the real daft belief. If public opinion has changed so much in support of gay marriage after only ten years, imagine what it's going to be like in twenty or fifty more years.

My guess is that people who are still alive by then who took part in the Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day thing yesterday will hope that nobody remembers or points it out because they will feel like those protesters in the 1960s who were angry that schools were being desegregated.

Former Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee, if he's even remembered by the next two generations, will be "that former governor who ran for President, failed at it, and then went crazy and endorsed bigotry against gay people".

It's kind of sad really. You can see this train wreck coming for them, and yet "the Right" (as this thread calls them) just throws more coals onto the fire and picks up speed toward it.
