He was in the SS. He was a volunteer in a specifically Nazi party unit (see death head insignias on his uniform lapels) They were true believers in their cause, not mere conscripts like most of the German Army. The "I was just following orders" bit wears a littke thin when coming from an SS mouth. He would never have said no.

Everbody there will be dead because it will be a nuclear wasteland. The Jews will not allow themselves to be destroyed yet one more time without big consequences.
Perhaps you should realize that all the nuclear weapons stored in Israel are for the protection of the Rothschild bankers who live in Belgium (have houses there) They are smart enough to to store it where it can be targeted.
This is the Jewish bankers attempt at becoming 'gods', it has fu*k all to do with protecting Jews as the Bankers were the ones that 'arranged' both World Wars just to accomplish that and it isn't over yet. Try looking at 70 years past the date the UN signed on and that comes up in just less than 2 years.

Time to grow the fu*k up tard.

After the sickos in the SS did their thing in Russia, the Russians saved their very worst for those bastards.
You really don't have a clue do you??? lol entertaining by proving how stupid you are about the history is not the best way to make your mark in life.

Don't sweat it, your title is safe. You got something to say or do you just like the should your flapping gums make.
How many Israel Jews would be hanged for war crime if the US had not been protecting them all this time?

Israeli Violations of U.N. Security Council Resolutions

It is 5 pages long so I will spare posting that part.

None. UN Security Council votes are irrelevant since that is one more part of the useless UN controlled by the enemy.

Except when it give the US the green light for **** like Gulf Wat 1&2 and the clusterfu*k that was Libya. If you are going to post you might as well include some actual facts. If you need the 5 pages I'd be more than willing to post them just for you.

So he's ninety four many others would be his age too if he hadn't assisted in tormenting
and killing them. Age and justice are not related equals they are measures of evil in this
case this guy got away with most of his sins right till the end.. No sympathy here. Guards
and SS were evil and he is getting what he deserved its too bad the law can't get them all

Reread a couple of posts up. It's really not that difficult a puzzle. The camp guard was in the SS. His other option would have been the Russian Front.

... not too difficult ...

Even less difficult to figure out is: He volunteered - thus he could get the perks he wouldn't if he was conscripted. Russian front wasn't an option....

You'd do yourself a favour if you'd take off the arrogant face, troll wiser and recognize agreement when you get it. Nobody likes a know-it-all who obviously doesn't

Before Mr. Hanning read his statement, his lawyer read from a 22-page summary of Mr. Hanning’s youth and how he came to be at Auschwitz. He said that Mr. Hanning had joined the Waffen SS at the urging of his stepmother, but that he had never wanted to serve anywhere but on the front lines. But he was transferred to noncombat service as a guard at Auschwitz after suffering an injury fighting on the Eastern Front.

When he first arrived at Auschwitz, he was not aware of what was taking place at the camp, Mr. Hanning said in the statement read by his lawyer, Johannes Salmen.

“Nobody talked to us about it in the first days there, but if someone, like me, was there for a long time then one learned what was going on,” the statement said, according to The Associated Press. “People were shot, gassed and burned. I could see how corpses were taken back and forth or moved out. I could smell the burning bodies; I knew corpses were being burned.”

I'm sure all these so-called guards and various sundry employees were anxious to 'complain' about the smell and such to their superiors.

His age doesn matter to me. He was there and he did it. He should pay. You dont let mass murderers off the hook just because they are old.

Makes less sense for the grandkids of victims to be doing the pursuit. How can you step into a future if you can't step out of the past?

The two arent mutually exclusive. You can work for your future while trying to come to terms with the past.

I wonder just how much this kangaroo court thinks one low level guard could have done to prevent even one murder without becoming a victim himself?

He wasnt drafted into the SS, he volunteered. You had to be a die hard Nazi to get into the SS. What could he have done? Not join. Go to the regular army or navy. Or better yet join the resistance. There was an internal German resistance to the Nazis. The whole following orders thing isnt a defense. If no one had followed orders nothing would have happened in the first place.

Give me a break....what the hell was he going to do when the Unterstürmbahnfurer assigned his 20 something wounded azz to the camp?...Say "FUKK OFF!"? I think not....put yourself in his position....could you (at 22) look a bunch of blackshirts in their eyes and say no while they stand there fingering their Luger triggers.

kind of an empty gesture when they've lived 70+ years in freedom after their crime.

anyway, very few left on either soon, soon none. then all we'll have left is arguing over and editing wiki pages over the numbers of the dead again.
