In practice I agree but I dont have a problem with the act. No matter how it goes people like Picton and Bernardo will never see the light of day again.

It eliminates victims having fight to keep as$holes behind bars.

They dont have to fight it either way.

I would prefer an elected to an appointed board. If a member of your family or flossies were murdered you both would be singing a different song.

Perhaps but the system is supposed to be impartial. Having it go the way you want would eliminate the impartiality.

While that is unlikely, we don't want to lose sight of the fact a dangerous offender did in fact escape custody quite recently. I don't recall if it was B.C. or AB.

Nothing in the world is perfect. Throwing taxpayers dollars at problems don't often make things better.

Some fancy foot work there buddy. I complained, as did many others when the Libs got a majority with a minority of the vote. If anybody can come up with a big enough stick of dynamite to get the 50% non voters off the collective butts to vote, I would help them light the fuse. I'm hoping enough people wake up to Harpo's draconian policies before that prick gets another majority and completely hoops this country.

I might be upset by your remark if you hadn't proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that there isn't anything between your ears to worry about.

Thought you didn't care about anything, since the world is goin ta hell in a hand basket anyways.

So we are agreed... You are not capable of rebutting any argument, commentary, etc...

Don't be so silly. I do that all the time. Are you pouty because Ive made fun of your unrequited love? Would you like me to call this Justine you're obsessing over and put in a good word for you? What's your sign. She might be interested to know.

Escape is different from release. This bill would do nothing about escapes.

Captain, the only way to move on to new business is to ignore him completely when he speaks.

That goes for a few people around here.

You have to be kidding about impartiality, hired guns are not impartial. Those who would lose their well paid job over it would just vote with the majority, that is impartial, no bullchit psychologists involved.
