Some Canadians and Alaskans have discussed the possibility of the state of AlaskaUnited States and joining Canada under an autonomy plan allowing for a U.S. sphere of influence.

Tyr, you mean we may have Joan of Arc as a member of our Parliament? Yikes!

We'd exile her to St Lawrence Island in the Bering Sea...... she could see Russia from her bedroom window...

Alaska - Some Canadians and Alaskans have discussed the possibility of the state of Alaska seceding from the United States and joining Canada under an autonomy plan allowing for a U.S. sphere of influence. The issue has been discussed on various fora, such as that for the Alaska Independence Party forum, which claims Alaska as the "lost province".
Vermont - Some supporters of the Vermont independence movement propose that Vermont join Canada as a province.
Maine - Some propose that Maine secede from the U.S. and join Canada as a province, though this movement is much smaller than the "Vermont annexation movement".
New England - Certain members of the Maine and Vermont secession movements back all of New England seceding and joining Canada
That being what it is, we will have to export Sarah Palin back to the US.

Yeah... all this is going to happen... such big talk down here of Massachusetts becoming Canadian.

There has also been the concept of "Jesusland" (red states) in the new North American order

And from that map... we would own Canada. You would now be out voted and out numbered by the NEW Canadians.

Seems to me that the Olympics have multiple winners. Canada wins its fair share. Considering the amount of people that Canada has to choose athletes from, I think we do pretty well.
Anyway, I wouldn't mind states and provinces mixing a little. As I have said before, BCers have more in common with Alaskabushers, Warshingtoners, Oregonos than we do with flatlanders and Canadians from "upper Canada". :D

Why... if all these states become Canadian you just may win the Olympics. ;-)

I somehow doubt that those states will change sides any time soon. In any case, there are a few countries that take winning the Olympics a little more serious than Canada.....Except for hockey...;-)

I think it is pretty funny you picked the Winter Olympics in 2006.

What's the matter Spade... you didn't like the last Summer Olympic medal count?

USA- 110
Canada- 18

That was too easy.
