I'll believe it when I actually see him doing something. This sounds like a newer version of "thoughts and prayers" unless there is real follow up. The NRA will stop that cold. It's an election year and his Hillbilly constituency will not stand for any reduction of their freedom.
What should Trump do about the twelve shoootings in Toronto this weekend ?

Trump is supposed to be going to Dayton and El Paso.

Can you imagine the poor families of these victims. First they lose a loved one then they have to endure this ignorant racist coming to town to make a little speech and get a little face rime.

No mass shootings in those countries.
Immediately after this massacre, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, enacted a ban on assault rifles in NZ.
Owners of these weapons are surrendering them to Police, and being re-imbersed for the device.
Each one destroyed makes this place that much safer.
This is a big factor in the American 1% buying and bunkering down in NZ.
Also, 90 million sheep can't be wrong.

Some have sated that they don't want him to come at all

He does not even realize how his own language and attitude has inflamed the situation. His We vs them attitude has created this schism.......and potential for hateful acting out with guns.

Why is he bothering to go?? He will just say the same stupid stuff......and do NOTHING about it.His interests lie only for himself, his re election, and those that will re electhim. NOTHING else matters. He is now addicted to the power the job gives him

Facts and stats don't matter to them.

Interesting to note that the US has such a HIGH tolerance for shootings and violence in general. It is like they are used to living in a a war zone. They are used to candle light vigils....... and the cycle that violence brings. It is their way of life. THAT might be the biggest tragedy of all. They thencreate "heros" from each shooting......as if that is to make the situation better.

That is because all their heroes are fictional characters they see in movies and on TV. They have no real heroes. They live in a fantasy world, which is why they elected a game show host and an actor who played second fiddle to a chimp.
