I do believe Trump will bring back jobs and prevent some from leaving. As for our jobs and manufacturing here in Canada, let's see how JT deals with Trump's insistence that we use USA manufactured pipes for our very own XL pipelines!! We have our own seamless, or welded pipes, which should 100% be used. I certainly hope that JT tell's Trump to fu$#k off (since Trump is big on using nice words), he cannot dictate what we do in Canada and what we put in the ground. We shall see how big JT's b#ll's are in comparison to Trumps!

What? JT has b#lls?
I would think that Americans would have the say about what materials are used in their country. It is possible that the details of the construction of the pipeline could be worked out amicably if both negotiate with cool heads.

The Johnson Amendment, Which Trump Vows to ‘Destroy,’ Explained

It fulfills a major campaign promise to the right

Mr. Trump promised he would work to repeal the Johnson Amendment as part of his extensive outreach efforts to religious conservatives, a group that took a long time to warm to his candidacy. Eliminating the measure has been a goal of the right. Conservatives have argued that it violates the protections of free speech and free exercise that the First Amendment extends to houses of worship. Courts have not agreed.

Speaking of the implications of a repeal last year, Jerry Falwell Jr., the prominent evangelical leader and Trump supporter, said it would “create a huge revolution for conservative Christians and for free speech.”

MAGA is a mathmatical dream Locutus, it is not impossible, just extremely expensive and extremely unlikely, maybe the near certain change will be good for the American people, maybe it won't. Canada will share that fate as sure as shjt though. Fortress North America/The Prison Continent, a bit of both I think, can't see any other way, excepting giant mushroom cloud fumagation of some design.

I must confess I still have a thread of hope in continuity.

Bigly sigh of relief here.

Democrats kicking themselves. They almost got the albatross (Obamacare) off their necks.
