I could work with you,(referring to ITN) but that JimMoyer will require way to much drugs and a chain to keep him from floating off into the acid and co2 clouds.

Noooo that is NOT "conspiracy theory" but undeniable FACT, man, I had to point that out, the only way out of that statement is to "pull a Ciinton" and try to get what the definition of "in bed with" (as pertains to relationships between corporate entites) is exactly...

Through lobbyists(moving freely from public to private service) and campaign contributors the political process is bought and paid for and with the rise of mega-corporations it has become MUCH worse than old-fashioned small town nepotism, in fact it is much the same system played out across the whole globe by a select few....

Sorry to interrupt, I just had to point that out quick

But when I hear the fringe left praising Castro and his little jubgle wars, North Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia and other sick regimes, they lose credibility in my eyes. They try and make the point, that taking away freedoms is somehow for the greater good. Bullshit.

You see people like Pasta would rather see America get attacked by crazies like Binny Boy and Saddam...thats why they are on Irans side. They don't want us to quell threats, they want the threats to come to fruition and they want America to fail. Screw em. I would rather hear them whine and complain that have to see more 9/11s.

The lefts entire contribution the war effort has been to whine.

Wow, is this your ONLY defence!! I see this posted time after time after time after time. If someone isnt for the Iraq war it makes them anti American. Crapola. Lets have some detailed analysis of your position Jay, and not just degradation of the lefties. You cant refute their arguments---GREAT POSTINGS, by the way, PASTA!- so you resort to denigration. How immature and inept. Read history and then maybe you can debate these topics properly. Actually, if you really read the history, you will probably realize you are rooting for the wrong side. Why are you so afraid of questioning your president's actions-- are you afraid of what you might find!!!!!

Oh, and before you add the one line that the USA was right in starting Desert Storm, you might want to consider that even there, the USA had ignored all of Saddam's indications that he was about to invade Kuwait, and had all ready ignored his killing of Shiites and Kurds. Only when their oil was threatened did they act.

Wow. Pot. Kettle. Black.

Enough analysis and comparison?

We could do a compative analysis of posts. That is, compare your assumptions and contribution to denigration to Jay's assumptions and denigration at this particular time? I don't prefer that model of comparitive analysis though, I prefer the most common model to weed out differences and commonalities. How about yourself?

Why does every thread become the same argument? I really don't get how people can see anything as being so completely one sided. No country is 100% evil or 100% good.

I think we can work together, you seem more often than not a reasonable sort, I too enjoy the benifits of free enterprise but I think the big fish are screwing it for the little guy. I could work with you, but that JimMoyer will require way to much drugs and a chain to keep him from floating off into the acid and co2 clouds.

I also believe corporations have no morals, but I also believe it's the job of the government to control them. Big business and government are not in the same bed together, BUT, they do excercise influence, without a doubt. My position is, that the government is more corrupt than the corruptor when they kneel to influence, I think that is our major difference. I have never trusted any government, ever, anywhere. Whatever we have accomplished, we have done so because of activists, organizations and common concerned citizens. And tht's always where I have placed my faith.

Hey ITN guess what if you mix avtivists, oranizations and concerned citizens PRESTO you have paticapatory government,
there is no substitute for government I have already suggested having the whole thing run by a computer named HAL but it was shot down.
Big business and government long ago began sleeping together and they've sired some really hidious offspring.
In many countries there is no effective separation of State and Corporation, follow the money ITN, Government has been bought. If you ain't on fortune 500s list you ain't in Government.
:D :)

It's a symtom of war, the demonization of the enemy, there is a war going on, it's a class war, it is valid and real. Every thread becomes the real thread, maybe it can't be avoided, words are not virtual.

Why the anger, Said1? It has been said many a time on this forum that being against the war in Iraq and being against many of the foreign policies of the United States makes one anti American, a leftist, or someone who WISHES terrorist acts upon the US. This is jargon that is thrown out to divert discussion from the actual item in question- that of US foreign policy. I am certainly not the most eloquent poster on this forum, and I have not yet learned how to put in links- I am trying to learn this, but this does not make me an empty bubble head blonde as you seem to suggest. I am well read on the issues of American policy and why you would pick on me instead of DB, Caracal Kid, aeon, etc, is an interesting question?

RE: AMERICA: CINDERELLA A

Fuzzylogics good evening how are you, I don't know how to put in links or pictures or much of anything else, when you figure it out let me know, there are instructions here somewhere but they're tedious and I'm lazy.
If you want to put in URLs hit the URL button and write the URL and then hit the Url button again, and bang it's done, I don't know if that's the same as a link or not, nobody tells me anything.
Keep up the contributions, I enjoy them. Said1s O/K most of the time, she's giving us the eye these days.
