What will you do when Bush is tried in the world court?

.......as long as he is punished.?? Breath a big sigh of relief, hope that a RATIONAL leader takes over in the US ( NOT CHENEY.....as he and the whole gang must be tried in world court)...... and then promote all kinds of help for the IRAQIS......to help them get on their feet after so many years of suffering....with the aim being full independance as a unique nation with a unique culture etc....

and finally ........"forgive" the US for its stupidity/insanity.

and continue to be good friends. No residual resentment, just a harmonious neighborly cooperation again.

My "beef" is in one and one only area.....and it is the pathos of this invasion in Iraq and the consequences that are coming into play as a result of it.

Do you think it makes me happy to see the US resented so much?? absolutely not. It is very sad,.......and it is very scary.

for the record: I do NOT HATE bush. Hate is not in my language or sphere of influence. I do contest his leadership........ and only in as much as it affects the world and the many people who have to suffer his arrogant aggressiveness. If Americans are happy with hm and his "domestic" policies , that is their business...... but when he does what he is doing on the world stage.....it is everyone's business. Nothing complicated about that one.

If thats your "beef" I stand corrected. You gave another impression in your previous post.

We've never had harmonious neighborly cooperation, we're out to get you, just ask Rev, he knows the entire plot.

Drop the crap, think not. Just because I take the time to point out the fallacies you and your ilk promote is no reason to make every post about me.

Why didn't anyone complain about it as much as the verocity about Iraq?

Let's examine each situation individually. .....as each situation is different with unique criteria.

and yes, until bush started the drums for war in Iraq.....I had no real contest with the USG. Didn't see bush as particularly effective.......but didn't (at that point) see him as particularly ineffective. Started to get some red alerts post 9-11......(have to admit that)......but nothing that would hold much water.

then came the Iraq issue and it was a real eye opener.

The fact that I think the contracts in Iraq were not fair .....and heavily tilted to Cheney's old company......and within the immediate circle of the administration.......is a factor too. IF the world is supposed to assist Iraq.......then the world must have access to contracts fairly and squarely. Now, if the US thinks it can handle the situation in Iraq.....let's see it do it. ( the stabilization, the reconstruction, the medical assistance to ALL the Iraqis that have been maimed........not just one poster boy that got so much notoriety. He is not the only one to have suffered. It is the unheard voices, the unseen faces that are so troubling.

You flatter yourself, all I do is point out your narrow-mind. You take things out of context when it suits your purpose of self-promotion and self-adervtising.

The only ilk I see here, is you and whoever pays you to further your slander.

LOL. keep talking like that , and you might even believe it. Too funny. (next time CA refuses to follow something the US is on a crusade about......don't take it personally, it's just business. )

GO GALLOWAY......GO!!!

excerpt from article :

""I am speaking for tens of millions, and maybe more, around the world, who know the truth about Iraq. Who know that the real criminals are in Washington. Not in the United Nations. The real criminals are in the White House, not in the Elysee Palace. The real criminals are in the Congress, not in the anti-war movement. So I have no respect for this...

"This is one of the reasons why we need Al-Jazeera in English, so that we can reach the people who, if you can reach them, you can win their hearts. They are not bad people. The American people are not bad or evil people. But they are ruled by bad people.

"Bush, and Blair, and the prime minister of Japan, and Berlusconi, these people are criminals, and they are responsible for mass murder in the world, for the war, and for the occupation, through their support for Israel, and through their support for a globalized capitalist economic system, which is the biggest killer the world has ever known. It has killed far more people than Adolph Hitler. It has killed far more people than George Bush. The economic system which these people support, which leaves most of the people in the world hungry, and without clean water to drink. So we're going to put them on trial, the leaders, when they come. They think they're coming for a holiday in a beautiful country called Scotland; in fact, they're coming to their trial.

...........a tad emphatic, but he makes his point.

hey , ya all. Shake hands , make up, and keep the topic of the debate in focus. K???? :)

(have a little sympathy for the Americans here, they are under a lot of self made stress;-) (and probably should be on tranquilizers about now.;-)

(but take no crap from them either ;-)

..........but back to Galloway. Agree with him.....the entire USG should be tried as "war criminals"

The world can use the same system the US used to invade Iraq. Beat the drums for arrests and trials, arrest them.......hold them in one of the US gulags -preferably with SH and others of his ilk- indefinately, while the lawyers mess around gathering their hrly rate.(over a dry martini or scotch on the rocks)......building a case. Sound like a plan??;-)

How about some physical, mental, and sexual abuse as they did to others? Is this on the menu for them?

That's what I'm pushing for. Let's put the bastards on trial...it would send a message to the entire world that the party is over and war crimes will not be tolerated, no matter who commits them.
