Honestly the judge will have all the facts in front of him/her. He/she should be able to make judgment without his/her pre-defined gender biases.

We have heard of cases where the ministry (via court order ) has removed children and placed them with either foster parents or the other parent and the children have ended up dead or sexual abused. We have a case currently where by the ministry told lies and the child was removed from the mother and placed with the father who sexually abused her. The ministry was told by the mother that the father was a pedophile, but...

this crime is so horrific that drug use never crossed my mind. I thought at first that the father was killed during the abduction and was hoping that the mother was behind it and that toddler was going to be ok.
