after patting herself on the back for all the GREAT things she has done, and satating that the last 2 weeks too much time has been spent on questions of allegiances, she has resigned as Premier and leader of the PC party.

oh yes, and no mention of WHY there has been all the bullshyte the last 2 weeks.

Good. The only reason Ger is pissed is because he voted for her. Very good example of karma at work. lol

This probably points out another main difference between the Cons and the Libs.
The Cons move to fix problems within their organization when they see it's serious, but the Libs on the other hand would only move to huddle and protect their leader at any cost.

One, she's not in my riding so I couldn't vote for "her", and two, I voted wild rose last election.

Lol, based on what?

Have you seen anything like that happening at the federal level?

Personal reasons, maybe she's expecting?
Maybe she smuggled a few African houseboys back in her luggage.

....to see half her caucus ditch her and her government fall apart.
Makes me want to check Harpers travel expenses, under the domino theory it should probably crash the whole country in the Western Nations.

I wonder if she knows if she had returned the $10k she would have been elected next term even without any campaigning?

Redford wasn't a poor Premier, she actually worked hard to keep the economy on a reasonably steady footing.

Her problem is that she is a sh*tty politician and should have learned to keep her yap shut... Could have taken a page from Klein - he made massive mistakes during his tenure and stuck his foot in his mouth on a number of occasions.. The difference between the 2 is that Klein issued his apology (sincere or not) and moved on... Redford wasn't capable of that

Yeah, and I don't think Klein squandered taxpayers' money like she did. He was a pretty humble and down to earth type. Didn't he show up at the pub just when the boys were getting off work to tip a glass (or two)?

Like a lot of politicians she just doesn't get it. When you are employed by the gov't. there's a simple acid test, that is not rocket science..........."If it's an expense you wouldn't make yourself, you DON'T stick the taxpayer with it." But like her there are thousands who don't get it.

First of all no party is better than the other they wait until the position is no longer
tenable then the party steps in. Sometimes they know about a problem for a long
time and as long as no one says anything life goes on.
In the day of social media and right to know politicians of all stripes should be on
the up and up, whether they are into contract scandals, padding expenses or stealing
valuable rings
