I would have to admit yapping at the mans heels is a bit much, but the man lives extranagently. He can afford to give up some of his creature comforts.
The masses of middle class folk that he preaches to, or the ones directly effected by up and coming GW legislation, don't have that large a margine of flexiblity.
Personally most people don't and can't. People don't make there own cars, they buy them from automakers. The only way to make change is to create awareness and incentive. If the public begins to feel enough is enough the manufacturers will change and they will profit from it. But the public will won't be created by requiring everyone to keep their mouths shut and only read little known articles written by people they don't know.
Abe Lincoln's in-laws apparently owned slaves. If the internet was around back then I'm sure it would be all the news and justification to ignore his message.
