Alberta will be back to normal and oil producing giant... and maybe at the rate it's going a sovereign state.

FORWARD There is probably no political issue in Canada on which there is more lack of information and more misinformation than on the constitutional question. The stalemate and the impasse which the governing authorities in Canada have reached on this question seem to indicate that there is and has been something very fundamentally awry in Canada's constitutional history.
For almost half a century this controversy has been raging without a satisfactory solution having been arrived at. Many Canadians, myself included, have had enough of this bickering between politicians and are determined to do something to bring this internecine strife to an end.
The purpose of this booklet is to indicate in some measure what I as a member of the House of Commons and as a private citizen have attempted to do to bring order out of the constitutional chaos in which Canada finds herself. Democracy is successful only in proportion to the knowledge which people have with respect to their rights and privileges. It is my hope that the information contained in this brochure will assist Canadians to that end.
Immediately following the recent Quebec election, I sent to Mr. Rene levesque a personal letter in which I indicated my conception of the constitutional rights which the provinces of Canada enjoy at the moment. At the conclusion of this booklet will he found a reproduction of this letter. Included with this letter was the additional material found in this booklet. A copy of my letter to Mr. Levesque, along with copies of the additional material, was subsequently mailed to each of the premiers of the provinces of Canada.
I desire to express my gratitude to Mr. R. Rogers Smith, who as my private tutor for almost the entire fourteen years during which I served as a member of the house of Commons, brought to my attention facts from the statutes at large, from the Archives and from original historical sources, the material upon which this brochure is based. That's ridiculous.. unless they expect to turn out the lights and turn off the heat in Calgary and Edmonton from 9pm to 6am every night.. and they still would need modern high energy generation by way of fossil fuel burning to keep some semblance of an economy going. In fact these 'renewable' sources would be far more destructive to the environment.

Alberta's electricity shift to generate 'up to' 30% from renewables by 2030

Alberta's electricity system will have to change drastically if the province is to meet the targets outlined under the government's new climate change strategy, a move the province says will happen steadily over the next 15 years.
Speaking of moving. I bet a few folks move out of AB as a result of Nuttey's gov't.

"It is no secret that our climate leadership plan lays out a significant challenge for our electricity industry," Energy Minister Margaret McCuaig-Boyd said.
<-- Guinness's Book of Understatements record. You notice that the Dippers will be comfy and cozy while they dump hardships on regular folks? It happened here, too.

Yes, shtt rises, alright.

Gee, only 15 years? What's the hurry?
If we believe the gloom and doom of the environmentalists we'll all be dead from pollution by then.
Does anybody know what 'renewable energy' is ? Are they going to recycle it like paper and tin cans?

Hydro is renewable. So far we have not been able to figure out how to stop water from recycling.

how many coal genterated plants does saskatchewan have?

Yup, ON Govt Subsidies. Flossy is paying and it's coming from debt so he'll be paying considerably more ya know eh.
what is it going to cost saskatchewan tax payers for coal generation to go off market and more so how much coal will saskatchewan be exporting?,how many coal mines does saskatchewan have?it seems like a double whammy for tax payers,we are paying for something which is generating huge money through export, this is the tricky part,
should taxpayers be able to look at coal products export potential before being on the hook for generation loss?
what do you think taxman?petro?certainly boomer is not going to like this,or even Walter.
