Not everyone fits the same mold.. so no the boom is not 100% great for all... yes it's good, at least for me.. but i see lots who fall through the cracks... English not their first language or no skills or trades..

Generally it a win/win I would guess for 90%the of the folks.. but there will always be that small unfotuante part of the population it hits hard..

Yup, one more example of boomers stupidity.

Gerryh, get a fikking life ya asshat.. you want to lower yourself and start calling names .. fine lets roll fagster..

I know you'll do great on a boom, your mother will be able to turn more tricks..

Look numbnuts... I have 7 kids.... that would be 1,2,3,4,5,6,7..... when things went for a shyte in BC, I MOVED to Alberta for work. The example you gave was an easy one considering CVS is one of THE largest pharmacy chains in the u.s. She most likely could transfer damn near anywhere and still retain her pension.

I got snarkey because of your idiotic and asinine claim that I obviously don't have kids because of my move suggestion. "Snap", I've been there and done that.

P.S. sending you a box of Trojans.. lol 7 kids.. ouch! $$$$

This is the second time in quite recent history where you have shot off your mouth at me, then accused ME of being the aggressor, when you haven't had a clue what you are talking about. The last time with my anti-war stance and now with kids and moving for work.

I'll tell you right now, I'm not one of these retards that shoots off my mouth about something I know nothing about, that being said, I also don't take fools lightly. No matter how young or old they may be.

O.K. I'm not insulting Alberta... so take s deap breath already.

Arrived Tuesday.. have a job.. easy part. However I am currently posting this thread from a tent on my phone.
.

Geeez

Sorry for typos, fat fingers on this phone.
lol It wasn't the typos that made me laugh; it was the idea that you have "a tent on my phone" that you were posting from that made me laugh. lol

Congrats on your new abode anyway. lol

Yeah, I don't mind laughing at my circumstance.. many people are worse off.. I still have my place back in BC paid for another month, so I have a fall back.. and all my furniture I need to pick up..

Arrived in Alberta Tuesday, and snagged a job day two and a really nice apartment top floor on day three.. so I think I did pretty well, after some other horror stories I was told about..

My new diggs until Aug 1st anyhow.. LOL

At least it's an adventure and not too boring..

Happy to say I am out of the tent and into my new apartment tonight.. allowed 2 days early.. and very happy to have found such a wonderful place.

Jobs are really a dime a dozen in Calgary, but finding an apartment.. get on a waiting list..
