Red Seal is interprovincial qualifications. There were quite literally hundreds of Ontario tradespeople at both Kitimat Smelter and LNG construction sites.
I thought wrongly it seems , we only had that agreement with Alberta .

“At the moment he is demonstrating he is moving in a different direction than his predecessor. I’m prepared to work with him.”
Alberta's Cunt in Charge is pushing the demands she said before the election, or threatening.
And so we are left to see how the next act unfolds.
“It will become evident pretty quickly whether or not it’s real or whether it’s smoke or mirrors.
She's also talked about putting in a way for Albertan's to have a referendum over the idea of leaving.

Except...
“At the moment I don’t know the answer to that. I’m going to proceed as if we’re going to get to an agreement that will be to the benefit of Albertans.”

Alberta Premier Danielle Smith noted at Monday’s meeting in Saskatoon between Carney and provincial and territorial leaders aimed at green lighting nation-building projects, Canada’s failure to build oil pipelines alone has been devastating to our economy.

Had the Northern Gateway, Energy East and Keystone pipelines been built (Keystone was killed by then-U.S. president Barack Obama), Smith said, Canada would be producing 2.5 million more barrels of oil per day.

“That’s $55 billion a year worth of GDP value, which is worth $17 billion to my government alone and about an equal amount to the federal government,” Smith said.

“This is not just an ideological argument, it’s not just a minor disagreement, oil is by far the most valuable export for Canada.

Western Canadians generally don’t wanna “pull out” of Canada, but a prophylactic would be in order, and consent from both parties would be a welcome change from the norm that we’ve come to accept. Beats Lorena Bobbet’ing away from the rest of Canada.

The premier says Liberal policies in the last decade have resulted in “tens of billions in lost royalties that could have been invested in the health, education, infrastructure and social services Albertans and Canadians need.”
She reminds Carney: “Prime Minister, Canada needs a strong Alberta.”
Now the ball is in Carney’s court and the stakes have never been higher.
“We will not allow the government to build a pipeline through Quebec,” he said on Monday. Go Team Canada! Elbows up, etc…
Does this make Danielle Smith the bad guy in this situation?

“I think there is a fixation on pipelines on (Prime Minister Mark) Carney’s part at the moment, not on the part of Quebecers,” said Bloc Québécois MP and former Greenpeace activist Patrick Bonin.

Since taking office in May, Bonin has mentioned the pipeline issue more than 20 times in his speeches on the floor of the House of Commons. Due to Liberal shenanigans, hasn’t parliament only sat for 9 days in 2025? Today will be day 10, & it will break for the summer vacation after another 10 sitting days…

Oh really? Well I don't want any Quebec freight traversing Sask by rail, truck or air. Only by ship.
