Now that the election is over and Skippy not only lost but lost bigly, Alberta's Cunt in Charge is pushing the demands she said before the election, or threatening.

She's also talked about putting in a way for Albertan's to have a referendum over the idea of leaving.

Except...

I had to Google GTFO….& now I know.

Watched the short video also. What created an environment where Danielle Smith could be the Premier of a province? Maybe that’s the question that should be asked.
It took Alberta Premier Danielle Smith about a heartbeat to transmit this message to Monday’s victor. “Albertans are proud Canadians that want this nation to be strong, prosperous, and united, but we will no longer tolerate having our industries threatened and our resources landlocked by Ottawa,” she said after offering Carney the required congratulations.

Why on Earth would Alberta be frustrated?
“A large majority of Albertans are deeply frustrated that the same government that overtly attacked our provincial economy almost unabated for the past 10 years has been returned to government.”

So, maybe Alberta should start paying its own way then? Stop freeloading off of the rest of Canada? Is that what would make Alberta’s Premier “Alberta’s Cunt?”

Eastern Canadians tend to discount western alienation in a way they’d never treat Quebec’s ceaseless complaints…

…perhaps because many have no memory of the surge in anger caused by assaults from Ottawa in the 1970s and 1980s, or the rise of Reform and steady sense of estrangement in its wake.

It may be comforting to view Smith as some sort of MAGA-ist crank (like above); it’s more pertinent to ask why Albertans would put a crank in power unless their patience with Liberal indifference, and Canadians’ complicity in it, was at an end?

Or someone that would like a return on their investment in Canada as a nation? Or someone who wants to be allowed to be what they can be as opposed to what Ottawa tells them they can be?😳…Sounds kinda Westernesse-phobic to me…
Afraid the welfare will dry up.

That's true.

I don't like the Premier with Balls - specifically Trumps balls - in her mouth, as she takes it every time she goes to Mar-A-Lardo.

Actually right now the only Premier with a damn is Wab Kinew because he's actually DOING for his province what needs to be done.

I’m not talking about the East Coast. I’m literally talking about Alberta.

I’m seriously not talking about the East coast.

I’m not sure what the issue is, or what rates the level of hostility, but I’m curious. Alberta pays its own way, and isn’t asking for federal handouts, but just to be allowed to fulfill its own potential. That needs to be demonized for what reason?

Whether others in Canada realize this or not, but if it’s bad for Alberta (whatever “it” is), it’s probably bad for Canada as a whole.

What is the Manitoba Premier doing for his province that other Premiers are not (?) and how does that justify the hostility being displayed towards Alberta as a whole & its Premier specifically?

That’s Tommy Douglas more than half a century ago. This was the current leader:

Anyway, I’m still curious about the hostility towards Alberta as a whole and it’s Premier specifically, so I asked AI where this was coming from:

Am I warm? Anyway, trivia question. “Which are the only two landlocked Canadian Provinces?”

I wonder if that has a bearing on political outlook in not having outside access to other markets other that through another province, state, or territory, at their whim?

Learn more about this guy and how both SK and AB have been screwed over since before being SK and AB.

Frederick W.A.G. Haultain was a key figure in the formation of the province of Saskatchewan, particularly in the early stages of its development. He served as the first premier of the North-West Territories and played a significant role in advocating for self-government in the territories.

Haultain's Contributions:

Advocacy for Self-Government:
Haultain championed the cause of responsible government for the North-West Territories, arguing that the territory should have more control over its own affairs.

First Premier of the Territories:
He served as the first and only premier of the North-West Territories from 1897 to 1905
.
Provincehood:
Haultain played a role in the eventual formation of the provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan in 1905. He initially proposed a single province, named Buffalo, but the federal government opted to divide the territory into two province without representation.

Leader of the Opposition:
After the creation of Saskatchewan, Haultain became the leader of the Official Opposition in the Legislative Assembly.

Provincial Rights Party:
Haultain formed the Provincial Rights Party, which advocated for greater provincial autonomy.

Whiny-ass butthurt Conservatives whimpering about how hard-done-by they are?
Hard working Canadians complaining about being taken by the welfare provinces. Alberta provides a lot of jobs for the whole country. Many people take their paycheques from Alberta oil fields back east and live quite well. A fair number from BC as well.
Despite all this benevolence from Alberta, the federal government, which for all practical purposes is the Toronto government deliberately but up roadblocks to Alberta growing its economy. It has been this way since confederation. Ontario and Quebec have always looked at the west as a cheap source of commodities they need. The hewers of wood, and drawers of water perception of Canada has to a large extent been forced on us by the east to prevent western independence.

Bullshit.

and Canadian industry in general.

Bullshit.

She's doing for herself and her MAGA Master in Mar-A-Lardo. She continues to prove that daily.

Industries get her focus because they get her the $$.

Otherwise who gives a damn, or have you missed how she is seriously screwing people's health care in AB and refusing to answer for her fuck ups?
