And where did this happen, downtown Boston, oh wait it was his country. So you think a person is a terrorist for defending his home ? Arsehole

Defending his home?? He was a Canadian Citizen..

Just like the idiots who go and join ISIS today, he should be stripped of his Canadian Citizenship and sent back to that Hell Hole he wants to call home.

....or left to rot in a jail cell.

We can argue until the cows come home about what type of person he was in the past, compared to the standards of punishment for most juvenile offenders he has more than paid his debt to society. The focus now should be on what type of person he will be in the future! :)

Lets see here. He was caught on the battlefield shooting at American soldiers trying to kill them and may have succeed. He lived in a country where they dream of killing Americans & Canadians. His entire life he has been taught to hate the infidels and destroy them all. NAH, he isn't a terrorist is he?

Course not. According to the extreme left the only terrorists around are those that run businesses and create employment.

He was neither a child nor a soldier, just a run of the mill cowardly combatant that hid among the innocent crowds, using them as human shields.
no i think 15 years old makes him a kid.i know you want to make it seem like he's older so you don't appear to be total scum supporting child torture.

Course not. According to the extreme left the only terrorists around are those that run businesses and create employment.
that myth that rich create employment was busted so many times.

even rich people claiming it's bull**** lol

You have established nothing except the fact that you are a lazy freeloader with zero knowledge of economics or reality.

He committed this crime in Afghanistan... I might remind you that he is not Afghani... Seeing how you referenced the standards of punishment for juvenile's, what are your thoughts that he should have been tried and punished by Afghan standards?

The focus now should be on what type of person he will be in the future! :)

He has absolutely no future in any Western country... He's broken and his name/fame will follow him around like the wretched stink that he truly is

If I'm following you correctly you are saying the mold is cast by age 15 and no one has ever changed one iota after they've reached the age of 15. The geography of where the deed was committed has bugger all to do with his chance of rehabilitation. People do change in fact I'd say ALL 15 years olds change as they age. What do the psychologists say about this kid's chances?

Sounds a lot like you

that myth that rich create employment was busted so many times.

Even by Western, simpering Liberal standards, 15 is old enough to completely understand right from wrong... You go and look at the stats and see exactly how many 14, 15 and 16 year old kids are willfully, knowingly and deliberately traveling across the globe to plant roadside bombs and collect the resulting souvenirs of ears, hands and feet.

By the by, I see that you decided not to respond to question of poor wee Omar being held to the standard of law and punishment in the actual country that he committed these crimes.

Hell, no one has even looked into the myriad of other crimes that he committed whislt pursuing his criminal, murderous career

W.T.F. would I respond to that question? It's a moot point as that is VERY UNLIKELY to happen. I try to deal with the situation as it is in the "here and now." Do you want this person to continue to be a load on society or do you want him to have a chance at a productive existence?

You can't respond to the question as it entirely undermines your position on 'standards of justice and punishment'... That's WTF you won't respond

WRONG- I think I have a pretty realistic and healthy position on justice and punishment. I agree 100% with punishment as a TEMPORARY measure to change behaviour. Now I have a question for you - when would you end the punishment in Omar's case? age 30, 40, 50, 100? I've generally believed in using the least amount of punishment necessary to correct a situation. Punishment is just one of many tools. A feeling of confidence is more important.

I see... So, your healthy position on justice trumps any of the standards and practices that the Afghani people have?... In the very likely event that Khadr's actions had hurt/killed any Afghan locals, they don't deserve any justice 'cause your opinion magically trumps theirs?

Nice

You're wasting your time.....It seems that the same people who wanted to hang zimmerman, want to coddle that killer.

No doubt... Remarkable in the duplicity

You sure make things simple for me- maybe you could use a couple more years in debating school.:) I think Canadian society and standards definitely trumps Afghan society and standards.

You support torturing children, which isn't surprising as you're also an ardent supporter of the immoral system of capitalism.

Supporting the torture of a child who wasn't even found guilty mind you.
