Still can't address the article then.

Shame.

To be fair, I didn't expect you were capable of it.

I'm getting hit with the same amount from the US as I type this without an Arctic front.

Is that normal or because of Climate Change or ???

So you can't answer my question?

Warning: Quebec To Be Hit With Polar Vortex And 20cm Of Snow
https://www.mtlblog.com/news/warning-quebec-to-be-hit-with-polar-vortex-and-20cm-of-snow

20 cm of snow is a direct result of global warming in the North.... Just like how the North pole has been ice free since 2013Fact

So instead of the usual 6-7°C we should be enjoying at this time of the year, Montreal and Quebec's temperature will be near or below O°C.

Global warming is making it cooler.

North is South, his mom is his dad and Santa Claus is real.

Splitting Of The Polar Vortex: The Arctic Is Melting In The Dead Of Winter

University of Maine Climate Re-analyzer

GFS model showing the temperature difference from normal (in Celsius) this past Sunday over the Arctic. Models show the temperature is above freezing at the North Pole.

Despite the North Pole being shrouded in darkness for another month, temperatures in the Arctic have soared by as much as 45 degrees Fahrenheit above average. This has brought temperatures above freezing in February in one of the coldest places on Earth.

Many in Europe experienced colder temperatures than the Arctic in the past few days as the polar vortex continues to collapse, the insulating body which keeps cold temperatures within the high latitudes.

Now, professors are grappling with an extreme melting event many thought was decades away. Greenland has experienced 61 hours of above freezing temperatures in 2018 thus far, during what should be the coldest months of the year.

This past weekend a storm pushed warm air northward into the Arctic, pushing temperatures to just above freezing and approximately 45 degrees Fahrenheit warmer than average. In this instance, it appears the intruding warm air into the Arctic was not pushed back by the polar vortex, a wall of wind which circulates the Arctic.

The variability seen in the polar vortex has been linked to both unusually cold winters in much of the Southeast as well as unusually warm weather in the North Pole. The polar vortex is an upper-level low-pressure field of air which rotates around the North (and South) Pole. The polar vortex acts as a barrier to isolate arctic air from warmer air to the south. However, variations in the strength of the polar vortex can cause disruptions in expected weather patterns across the northern hemisphere. This can be experienced as both masses of cold arctic air pushed southward, as well as masses of warm equatorial air pushed northward.

Average Precipitation for Quebec in March

The tables below give monthly averages for rainfall plus snowfall during March at cities and towns in Quebec. Each place has a total for how many days of wet weather it usually gets this month and for the normal amount of precipitation.

The calculation of days only includes the days when precipitation totalled at least 0.2 millimetres (0.008 inches). The month's total precipitation is an average of weather data collected during 1981 to 2010.

You can jump to a separate table for each section of the province: Southern Quebec, South-Central Quebec, Western Quebec, Gasp Peninsula, North Shore and Northern Quebec.

Funny how never a day goes by without some weather. You;d think we'd get the odd 'no weather' day.
