There was a guy who came along about two thousand years ago and said that. The right
wing had him put on trial and murdered then stole his message and warped it into a
different set of principals I think you know who I mean

Ya, well, every 2000 years there needs to be a changing of the guard.

Each of Us is Here for one Simple Reason. We Are Here to Change the World... [etc.] - Tom Mosher
In my considered opinion, fuzzy minded drivel like that is part of the problem. Evidence-free assertions about our nature and purpose will not lead us to what's true about ourselves and the cosmos we live in, and what Mosher seems to be describing there is not a world I want to live in. And that's another part of the problem: no doubt we could all agree that change is necessary, but we'll never agree on what the nature of that change should be. My inclination is to dismiss everything Mosher said there as mystic nonsense. It's not even internally consistent, never mind being strongly at variance with how I understand the reality around me. I'm never going to agree with him if that's typical of his thinking, and that leaves us never able to agree about what changes are necessary or useful. So what possible way forward is there? None that I can see if we let muddled ideas like his guide us, they look to me like a leap backwards into superstitious and magical thinking. I am not interested in going back to the pre-scientific world view.

I agree there is a revolution coming. But it will be working people rising up in revolt against those that live off our taxes and try to destroy our jobs.

Not sure if the TPP will get done in time for Canada's next election but it will allow those at the top to further erode everything for the majority...........

Like NAFTA, the TPP will include an investor rights chapter and investor–state dispute process that lets companies sue governments in secret tribunals when public policies get in the way of profits. The polices or decisions can be legal and fair (i.e. they treat national and foreign firms identically), or designed to effectively protect the environment or public health, and still face corporate lawsuits demanding hundreds of millions, and sometimes billions of dollars in compensation. Canada has lost or settled five such claims under NAFTA costing the public over $160 million. Leaked texts show the TPP will create even more opportunities than in NAFTA for corporations to challenge public decisions. This powerful tool of corporate rule, designed to undermine democracy, is reason enough to stop the TPP.

The TPP follows in the footsteps of other unfettered free trade agreements like NAFTA, CAFTA and the Permanent Normalized Trade Agreement with China (PNTR).

These treaties have forced American workers to compete against desperate and low-wage labor around the world. The result has been massive job losses in the United States and the shutting down of tens of thousands of factories. These corporately backed trade
agreements have significantly contributed to the race to the bottom, the collapse of the American middle class and increased wealth and income inequality.

The TPP is more of the same, but even worse.

During my 23 years in Congress, I helped lead the fight against NAFTA and PNTR with China. During the coming session of Congress, I will be working with organized labor, environmentalists, religious organizations, Democrats, and Republicans against the secretive TPP trade deal.

Let’s be clear: the TPP is much more than a “free trade” agreement. It is part of a global race to the bottom to boost the profits of large corporations and Wall Street by outsourcing jobs; undercutting worker rights;

dismantling labor, environmental, health, food safety and financial laws; and allowing corporations to challenge our laws in international tribunals rather than our own court system. If TPP was such a good deal for America, the administration should have the courage to show the American people exactly what is in this deal, instead of keeping the content of the TPP a secret.

Then you probably won't like this little bit I wrote on our Medicine Wheel fb page: In the new paradigm unfolding and according to Hopi prophesy, we are the ones we have been waiting for. We hold all knowledge and wisdom within because we are connected to everything. In this new paradigm, we are all in this together. There are no leaders or teachers who know more or better what is good for each of us. We grow and thrive at our own pace. We gather in a circle where no one is above, below or in front of any other. We are all equal, all brothers and sisters of the same Mother and Father. We are here to assist and encourage each other to take the next step toward the freedom and ascension of humanity and the Mother.

No, I'd agree with some of it, like "We are all in this together," and "We grow and thrive at our own pace," and "We are all equal," but the general tone of it strikes me as mystic nonsense.

...what the hell re you doing attacking thinkingh?
I'm not, in general, I'm attacking what strikes me as sloppy thinking rooted in a magical world view that has no basis in reality.
