Trudeau’s idea of, for example, disinformation could simply be news that he wishes hadn’t been published.

Remember this doozy of a line the PM uttered back in 2019: “The allegations in the Globe story are false. Neither the current nor the previous attorney general was ever directed by me or by anyone in my office to take a decision in this matter.”
Fake news in the Globe & Mail? We can’t have that, now can we? Better shut them down, or, at the very least, have their questionable story taken down and fine them so they learn their lesson.

Hold on though. Those allegations — about the SNC-Lavalin affair — were later proven to be more accurate than Trudeau would admit.

The Commons ethics committee voted by 6-4 vote to reject a motion by Conservative MP John Brassard to “undertake a study into issues of conflict of interest and the Lobbying Act in relation to pandemic spending.”

“It would just be stirring the pot,” said Liberal MP Greg Fergus, the Prime Minister’s parliamentary secretary. “It doesn’t seem logical to waste our time. I think we should move onto something else.”

Blacklock’s reports internal documents showed COVID contracts included a $237.3-million sole-sourced award to Montreal’s Baylis Medical Company for ventilators never used by the Department of Health.

(Baylis was operated by ex-Liberal MP Frank Baylis….Whoopsies…”Move along! Nothing to see Here! Move along!” etc…)

For the same reason the RCMP didn’t announce the charges against SCN Lavalamp until 5 days after the election?
For the same reason the Duffy Expenses thing came to light right before the 2015 Election between Harpers Conservatives or Trudeau’s Liberals?
For the same reason the Media Wing of the Liberal Party sued the Conservatives days before a Federal Election in 2019?

It's also very plausible Canada wasn't involved due to Chinese infiltration into our Intelligence sectors.
On that note, there’s this:
According to a new report by human rights NGO Safeguard Defenders, China has ramped up extrajudicial intrusions on Canadian soil. Their research finds that at least three operations in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) officially registered as Fuzhou Public Security Bureau “service stations” are actually illegal police stations. Safeguard Defenders alleges China uses these outposts to monitor Chinese nationals and “persuade” Chinese citizens accused of various corruption crimes to return home.

Persuade is, of course, a euphemism for the coercion, harassment and threats reported in recent years by Chinese citizens living in Canada. These tactics have also been used against Chinese immigrants who protest or critique the CCP. Even prior to Safeguard Defenders’ police station reveal, it was widely suspected that Chinese foreign agents operate in Canada.

The only real shock is just how brazen China appears to be in setting up physical police stations. But, then again, why wouldn’t it when our federal government, the Canadian Security Intelligence Service and various levels of law enforcement consistently fail to address China’s aggression in any meaningful way? The rest at the Link above.
