A New Low For American Troops?

No, it's not a new low. Individual US troops have done worse in the past. And they`ll likely do worse in the future. Individuals. Unfortunately groups are made up of the rascally things. I may hate war for a lot of reasons, but I certainly wouldn`t jump on something like this as being representative of all US troops.
JBeee - You of all people should relate to the fact that arxeholes are every-wheres - They are everywhere you look and not limited to one profession. From the Military to the Forums upon which we write. But then again if t military you are up in arms - I winder why we never hear a word from you on other threads that pertain to Arabs committing mas murder - Seems to me that you are rather selective when looking for assxoles.
Limited vision - or single minded hate - not sure which applies but at least one does.

I would feel very confident in saying that the vast majority
of american, canadian, british, etc., military are very
considerate of kids, and try to help them as much as possible.

Seeing that soldiers are representing our country abroad and are responsible for waging hearts and minds campaigns in occupied territories, we'd expect respect for the local population to be a part of their jobs.
Also, though there are pricks in every profession, I can tell you that where I work, if you show disrespect towards anyone, be it staff, employer, client, contractor, stranger walking in for directions, you'd get a stern warning at a minimum, if not actually get fired depending on the severity of the act. I've seen frustrated staff, but I've not yet seen one disrespect a client. On their own time, who knows what they do, but certainly not at work.
In a theatre of war, when they are not on base, when they're among the population, they must be considered to be at work. I do not know a single person in my workplace who's ever shown anyone disrespect on the job at least. It's just expected civility and social norms. Does the military recruit from the prison system or what?
If I were a solider, and saw that kind of behaviour I'd report it or if I had the power, I'd give a stern warning or possibly even lay charges.

What does this have to do with American Politics? Seems to be something for the Lounge, IMO. Eanassir apparently likes posting religious dogma in the Science & Tech forum, too.
Besides, a lot of those soldiers are still growing up themselves. I think some Canadians are as young as 17 (parental consent). Same for the USA's soldiers. It's just kids picking on kids and you can see that in any schoolyard.
