A serious question for you all... do you really think that their core message, that they want to remove the stigma of coming forward before a criminal act occurs, to get mental health care, is wrong? Or do you only dislike it based on your paranoia of where it might go eventually? We've made so many leaps and bounds in preventing pedophilia over the millenia (yes, sarcasm), what would be your tactic in trying to combat it?

What they did it for in Salem was to steal property from rich widows that refused to marry the guy that wanted their property. And a few for not following the church line.
Shooting kid diddlers is to protect the kids because they can't protect themselves.

This is the point.... they're not coming forward for mental health help, BECAUSE the attitude is that they should be shot, even in the mental health community.

So, how do you help someone prevent a crime, if they can't talk to you about the fact that they're compelled to commit one? It's a catch 22. And because a few mental health workers are trying to address it, they're being labeled and accused of trying to legitamize pedophilia.

Sorry but I cannot agree because the distance to what should be criminal is too short. Admitting you have feelings of sexual attraction for children and seeking help before you act on any urges is laudable: avoid damaging those you profess to love. Having the attraction is not criminal, but once you act on it, it is. Viewing child porn is wrong and should be deemed as criminal. Engaging in sexual activity with a child is wrong and should be deemed criminal behaviour. Making the blanket declaration as presented in the OP is not acceptable to me, and never has been, even before I was a parent.

Two 40-page booklets entitled "Love, Body and Playing Doctor" by the German Federal Health Education Center (Bundeszentrale für gesundheitliche Aufklärung - BZgA) are aimed at parents - the first addressing children from 1-3 and the other children from 4-6 years of age.

"Fathers do not devote enough attention to the clitoris and ****** of their daughters. Their caresses too seldom pertain to these regions, while this is the only way the girls can develop a sense of pride in their sex," reads the booklet regarding 1-3 year olds. The authors rationalize, "The child touches all parts of their father’s body, sometimes arousing him. The father should do the same."

I don't know much about the gay lifestyle but it appears to be a relationship based on
two consenting adults. That is in the social realm of society. Pedophiles are anti social
and in the criminal realm. Trying to equate the two is simply nonsense.
Shrinks float all kinds of ideas sometime even trying to throw us off the trail that they are
nut themselves.
I was once told by a psychiatrist that the job is demanding, they are trying to help people
regain a sence of sanity to go live in an insane world. Yes he was joking
