No, he "condemned" no one. The "condemnation" is something that those, like GLAAD, are falsely stating to further their personal agendas.

I'm not exactly a biblical scholar, but what does "they will not inherit the kingdom of god" mean?

If you don't believe in God, then it means nothing. If you do believe in the God of the Bible, then you already know these little tidbits and it is no surprise.

For me, it means Saul of Tsarsis was talking out his a$$.

You are avoiding the point here. Your or my beliefs have nothing to do with the simple factual questions of "what did Phil say".

So, in simple, no BS terms, what does that mean?

It means, that Phil believes that those who participate in homosexual acts, or cheat on their old ladies, or any of the other things mentioned in Corinthians will not go to heaven. If you don't believe in Heaven, or God, or believe the Bible is a complete work of fiction, then Phils beliefs mean nothing. It's not like he's calling for the death sentence or for homosexuality be made illegal. He voiced his beliefs as to what the Bible tells him. He also made it clear that HE is not the one that passes judgement. Only the Lord can do that.

Again, my beliefs means nothing in this. It is about what he said.

It certainly sounds like he is condemning them there.

The whole excuse that "the bible says this" is kind of weak if you actually ever read the damn thing. It is open to a huge amount of interpretation, and many explicit things are straight up ignored by even the most devout.

Why do you keep trying to make their about what I believe? That clearly isn't the issue here. A&E didn't suspend him because of my beliefs.

You like circles, don't you.

Phil Robertson was suspended for something he was accused of saying but in fact didn't say.

I really wish the "news" media would stop making stupid people famous.

It's not the media making these people popular, it's the drooler's who watch these shows who I suspect are the same droolers who buy magazines along the lines of the National Inquirer or any of those mags you see at the checkout counter.

These magazines have always been popular amongst a percentage of the population so it's nothing new.

I don't know why they (shows/magazines) are popular (apparently the Duck show is in the top shows on Cable) but people come up with all kinds of excuses as to why they find them 'intellectually stimulating' which is scary.............

That is very hard to argue when it is all down in print.

You may disagree with how some people characterize his statements, but in the end what he said it what he said.

Really??

Phil Robertson found God, dragged himself out of a life of drugs, alcohol, and violence, built a multi-million dollar business, and got himself a Master's degree in Education in the process.

He may be a lot of things, "stupid" ain't one of them.

Well, to be fair, it was his son that made the company into a multi-million dollar business. Phil spent 25 years making ducks calls in a shack in the forest.
