Let me get this straight; the deficit and dept are higher but the taxes are lower. So, it seems to me, they are related and who is going to pay for this lower tax - perhaps the next generation? Pretty selfish crap if you ask me. You want your kids and grand kids to pay for your excesses? That is what it looks like.

What concern of it is yours?? You don't pay taxes, you only add to the alleged problem.

That is pretty arrogant to be bitching about anything as far as money is concerned and how money is spent.

NO! Depends on a couple of things...........#1. What the expense incurred was for. and #2. the ratio of debt to assets

Borrowing $20 to make $2000 is bad. That $20 should be spent on slackers and figure out how to pay later or get somebody else to pay it back.

JLM is the part of the most selfish generation in the history of Canada. He gets mad at me for pointing it out but he continually proves me right.

That is a fair assessment of what lefty governments have done to us over the years.

Yup, add Harper and the present Conservative to the list of lefty governments.

The idea of "good debt" is kinda weird like satanic nutty thinking

It's quite simple really...debt created by Liberal governments is bad debt and debt created by Conservative governments is good debt. If i was a comedy writer, I couldn't write such silly bull**** the Conservative Party supporters are trying to pass off.

Yeah, you've mentioned that about a dozen times before but you should put your f**king money where your big trap is. Even if I was selfish at least I'm not an A$$hole which is more than can be said for you ...............................ARROGANT LITTLE PR!CK.

Putz probably thinks his is! :) :)

Compared to your generation, we're saintly.

And you're simple and I will have cooled off by morning!

You should shut off the computer and go for a walk if you are getting yourself wound up over a web forum. Clearly you take me more seriously than I take you. Either that or my comments about your selfishness are weighing heavy on you

Good debt! He said "good debt" isn't it interesting how Harper Conservatives have interferred with the meaning of words. The idea of "good debt" is kinda weird like satanic nutty thinking
Don't you see Beav; Conservative dept is good and liberal dept is bad.

I don't think the discussion here is about which party has good and bad debt, my guess is there would be some of each for all parties. My issue is with D.B.'s statement that there is no such thing as good debt. What if the alternative is to starve?

And you're a bad debt. When are you going to start contributing?

I feel I have to jump to Cliffy's defense here as I believe he was run over by a logging truck and has a serious heart condition. I'd like to think if those things happened to me I might be eligible for a little help.

Which generation are you? Purple?

You answered that adequately in post # 151. :) :) :) :)

There are good and bad investments and needed and not needed social spending. Most lead to higher profits and a better standard of living others a debt and on going burden.
