Please let us not forget that Sephen Harper went on Fox news and appoligized for Canada not taking part in the Iraq war you can not tell me he has changed that much in a year and a half. The CPC is FAR from perfect. There are many things in their policies I don't like. I prefered the Reform Party, honestly. But they are the best offered.

A "small "l" liberal" ?? Ok, if you say so. Anyone who "preferred the Reform party" doesn't nearly fit into that description, but hey, we all get to stake our own claims.

As for Stockwell Day ... I won't take the time to find links, but it may prove interesting reading to you if you Google him and check into some of his antics. The guy is nuts, but a fair representation of the Reform members I've encountered.

Try studying a little political science sometime. You might find out that the Liberals are far from liberal, and that the Conservatives are closer to liberal than the Liberals have been for a long time.

Any implementation of any policy regarding two tier health care or abortion would be instant political suicide.

What Oda did is not fraud............no money changed hands, and she was perfectly entitled to cancel KAIROS funding.

I am going to assume that this is a serious post and respond in that way. Although I cannot find fault with your decision not to vote Liberal, your reasoning seems a little weak. Listing events that happened prior to the selection of the current Liberal leader is equivalent to not voting Conservative due to mistakes made by John A. MacDonald and other administrations prior to that of Steven Harper. I am quite sure that if a similar list was compiled for the Conservative Party it would be just as long. It makes far more sense to refuse to vote Liberal based on the party's ideology; not the mistakes of previous administrations, especially since some of those "mistakes" would be supported by many Canadians. I also note that some incidents mentioned in your list have absolutely nothing to do with anything the Liberals did when in power. Number 172 on your list is a case in point. (Ken Dryden’s chief of staff charged with careless driving (Ottawa Citizen, March 22, 2005). If you are going to condemn a party at least do so on the basis of their policies rather than going after the party for something has has nothing to do with the party in any way.
