    Most Memorable Breakfast

I know a lot of people who just can't face food first thing in the morning, but I've always had a tremendous appetite as soon as my eyes open. It's probably a holdover from my "farm kid" days, where breakfast was a MEAL. Would anyone care to comment on the best, weirdest, most delicious...

    Are You A Musician?

Are there any amateur (or pro, semi-pro) musicians out there? Interested in chatting about the music you like to play, favourite instruments, etc.? I started playing the guitar when I was 11 yrs. old and have never kicked the habit.

Flu is not the biggest danger ...... It's the vaccine

There is certainly a lot of stuff out there against vaccines. Here's one of the easiest reads on the subject: Cancer Truth Newsletter 10-22-09 I have no way of verifying if any of this is true, but here's one of the paragraphs: In 1977, Jonas Salk, the creator of the polio vaccine...

Flu is not the biggest danger ...... It's the vaccine

For those who are interested, here's another article entitled "Scientist's Polio Fears Unheeded": http://www.anomalies.net/archive/Fringe-Political_Belief/AIDSEDDY.TXT One of the paragraphs reads as follows: "Like the current theories that polio vaccines may have spawned AIDS, Eddy's...

Flu is not the biggest danger ...... It's the vaccine

JLM - I have an open mind on it too, which is why I decided to look for the sources of the opposition to vaccination in general to see if there is anything substantial to it. I'm still looking, and it takes time to pick through all the stuff that is available on the Internt...kind of an...

Flu is not the biggest danger ...... It's the vaccine

I found an interesting page on vaccines which contains tidbits and quotes from a number of medical people. It's at: http://www.falseflagflu.com/pdf/Fliers/The%20Engineering%20of%20Pandemics.pdf A couple of the quotes: "The only safe vaccine is a vaccine that is never used." - Dr. James A...

Flu is not the biggest danger ...... It's the vaccine

Well, it's an interesting debate. There is a rather lengthy, but fact-filled article at: The Salk Vaccine And The "Disappearance" of Paralytic Polio-  Is Paralysis A Viral Disease?  -By Gary Krasner & Barry Mesh which contains a lot of information, including this paragraph: "By 1960, the Salk...

Flu is not the biggest danger ...... It's the vaccine

Well, as an alternative, one might consider boosting their immune system with Vitamin D3, especially in the low sunshine periods of the year. A strong immune system can fight off all kinds of things, naturally. Exercise and a well-balanced diet helps too.

    State of the Union

Did anyone watch President Obama's State of the Union address last night? He hasn't lost his oratorical skills. Last night's speech was direct and to the point. Health Care was on the agenda, but he covered a lot of other ground. Comments?

    Beef Recipes

Thank you...yes, already have an herb garden going...indoors and out, when seasons allow. I have a neighbour who grows huge amounts of asparagus - really nice stuff - so I'll continue to "raid her garden" for that one. It's really nice to eat when it's less than an hour out of the...

You're probably right...I can't remember what it looks like "above ground." But, I have a couple of green-thumbed neighbours who could help me out on that. Growing in ditches?!? Wow! That would be a find... I really love the taste of fresh horseradish vs. the ready-to-go stuff in the...

    Beef Recipes

I did! I mixed it with some of my homemade (hot) mustard and it was pretty good. Would like to find some fresh horseradish but hard to do around here. A neighbor grew some a couple of years ago, and gave it to me as she didn't know what to do with it. I ground it up, added some things to it...
