Washington Post highlights sections of Quebec’s Bill 96

Looks like the New York Times is also reporting on this racist piece of legislation. I’m hoping that word of bill 96 keeps spreading globally to the extent where foreign countries start considering economic sanctions against Quebec for serious human rights violations...

Washington Post highlights sections of Quebec’s Bill 96

Those who work in public service in Montreal do indeed speak English. Most Montreal residents can also speak English. On my side, I don’t work in public service so am not bilingual. Never had any motivation to learn French due to the racist language laws.

Washington Post highlights sections of Quebec’s Bill 96

Would be nice if the rest of the provinces implement reciprocal laws. Unfortunately other provinces have a problem with imposing serious human rights violations upon it’s citizens. So this will never happen.

Washington Post highlights sections of Quebec’s Bill 96

Quebec MNAs swear an oath to the Queen upon taking office. Swearing an oath to the Queen does not infer that they are monarchists. It means that they recognize and accept Canada's system of democratic, rights-based government, which the Crown symbolizes.

Washington Post highlights sections of Quebec’s Bill 96

It’s not law yet, however the Quebec Legislature voted 78 in favor and 29 against to pass the bill. It will likely become law next month. Almost every section of this bill contravenes the Canadian constitution and the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. It looks like Fascism is now present in North...

    Roe v. Wade overturned?

Roe vs Wade will get overturned. Politicians decided during the pandemic that “My body, my choice” was no longer valid by imposing a vaccinate mandate. Many lost jobs as result. Can’t have your cake and eat it too. Too bad.

    Melanie Jolie is a Hypocrite

The foreign affairs minister stated today that Russia was trying to manipulate the principles of human rights. Seriously? How can she possibly discuss human rights with a straight face, when she’s just as guilty of supporting a violation of human rights in her own province. She’s the author of...

    Omnibus: Conservative Leadership Race

Jean Charest?!?! Is this a joke? First off, he is NOT a conservative! His views on gay marriage and abortion puts him further to the left than Joe Biden! If you want the People’s Party of Canada to get even more votes this time around than last time, then by all means, nominate Jean Charest...

Those fully vaxxed account for most of the new COVID cases in Quebec

Those folks who were gullible enough to trust the government when told that their lives would return to normal upon getting fully vaxxed only have themselves to blame. Not being allowed to see a hockey game and discouraged against international travel is not my idea of things returning to...

Those fully vaxxed account for most of the new COVID cases in Quebec

I knew it. The vaccine is doing nothing to bring the case count down. People who were naive or gullible enough to trust the government just got burned. Thankfully I’m fortunate enough to be living in Quebec where my trust level for the provincial government is at zero percent. I cannot trust a...

Teen arrested after attempted kidnapping and gunfire at Montreal area school

I cannot for the life of me understand any judge would release this fellow? He attempted a kidnapping and fired a gun in the process. Not to mention that he refused to tell police the whereabouts of his gun or his accomplice. In my opinion, the judge who authorized his release needs to be...

Air Canada CEO should not have apologized

There is absolutely nothing wrong with living in Montreal and speaking only English. Mr. Rousseau had no reason to apologize here. Montreal has two mainstream communities, English and French speaking. Everything in the city is in both languages ( English/French schools, universities, hospitals...

Racist Bill 96 has sharply divided Quebeckers along language lines

I’m not surprised. Most French speaking Quebeckers support this racist peace of legislation which by the way uses the not withstanding clause to do away with our civil rights. 95% of English speaking Quebeckers oppose bill 96. We’re back to an all out language war in Quebec now. In English...

Anti-Masker to remain detained in order to be heard at length in court

As an anti-masker, I agree that a business has a right to request someone wear a mask to enter. However, no business or establishment could ever force anyone to wear a mask against their will. They can refuse you entry, but cannot physically force you to wear a mask. Doing so would be a gross...

With Bill C32, English speakers across Canada should think twice before voting Liberal

Here we are on the eve of the election and Trudeau or Joly have yet to backtrack on their proposed Bill C-32. This Bill essentially makes French the only official language in Quebec at the Federal level. The reason it’s discriminatory is because there is no equivalent reciprocal law that makes...

Frustrations mount as COVID’s 4th wave sweeps across Quebec

Right now in Quebec there is serious tension between English and French speakers within the province. On my side, I don’t socialize with my French speaking neighbors anymore. It’s an all out war. The reason is Bill 96. The Legault government wants to do away with our civil rights altogether. On...
